christmas in disney

This will be our first time in Disney for Christmas. Is there something special going on for dvc members? Is there anything I should know about? Is there a restaraunt that is wonderful for Christmas eve and day? How is the park? Is there a better one to go to? Do I need to be at the park one hour earlier then stated?
As you can tell I have a lot of questions. If you have anything to add please do so.

How is what park? They are all busy Christmas day and the entire week between Christmas and New Year's.

There are many special events, some are at DVC resorts intended for members.

There are many things you should know about when planning a Christmas season visit. You'll need to know the schedules (and any additional costs that may apply) to the special events in each park in order to see all the ones you want to.

Research the park hours, the events that are held for this season and the costs attached to some of them (MVMCP for example, CLP is another).
