Hi fellow Dis fans!
Who's going to Disney around Dec21? Are u driving or flying? Have you started to pack and plan your time there? Lets get excited!!!! I don't see any excitement going on for this time period.

Were going. Dec 14 to the 27. ASMu We are driving. No we havent started packing but my son thinks its time to start. We are planning what needs to get done before we go. Lists Lists Lists. We are getting excited yes. hehehe

We went at Christmas last year and it was wonderful! The decorations were gorgeous and tastefull. We enjoyed seeing all of the different trees in the parks and inside the resorts. Be sure to check out the gingerbread houses at some of the resorts (Beach Club and Grand Floridian).
Very jealous of all of you going over the holidays, I have to wait until March Break. Need to win the lottery so I can go more often!

We are flying out of Buffalo on the 21st and staying at Bay Lake Towers. We have a lot of fun things and great meals planned. We did this last year and absolutely loved it!!!:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

We will be there from Dec 14, staying at the park for 6 days, then going on a 3-day cruise. My DS10 wants to go to the Kennedy Space Centre so will be there for 2 days after the cruise. I love Halloween and Christmas in Disney because they really make it special!

I'm going Nov 29-Dec 6 to Pop! One more week!! Can't wait to see the resorts decorated and the Osborne Lights!(missed them last year):banana::yay:

We are at AKL Dec 16th to 25th then off to PBH at Universal until the 30th and are super excited. We went for Christmas 07 and if I had a choice I'd never be home for Christmas again!!

No packing, no lists no organizing yet - although I did buy myself a travel sized bottle of contact lens solution yesterday :lmao:

I spend so much time on these boards I hardly have time to go to work, let alone feed my family  and Christmas parties are starting to gear up...

Yikes - now you've got me scared :scared1: off to makes lists...

Driving December 19th arriving Dec 22 and returning January 8. Arrive home on December 9 or 10 depending on the weather. This is my first Christmas trip away from home and my sister and her family are coming. Staying off site at the new Homewood Suites Lake Buena Vista. Also doing Universal which we have not been to in 12 years. Not packing yet.

Linda

I am SO JEALOUS of all of you people. I went in 2007 for Christmas and LOVED every minute of it. It is so special and magical at this time of the year (not that Disney isn't ALWAYS special and magical). The decorations are beautiful. Be sure to take a close look at all of the trees set up in the different parks. They are themed to match the park you are at (For Example the Animal Kingdom parks, the decorations have hidden animals within them ECT).

I really hope you all have a great time while your there and safe travels.

We're driving down. I'm hoping to leave on Fri. Dec. 18 right after work. We have reservations at the Dolphin starting on the 20th. We'll be in Disney until the 25th and then we'll be driving to Ft. Lauderdale. I need to be back by Jan. 4. Happy travels everyone.

Hi, We are flying down on Dec 21 and returning the 29th. Going on the 4 night Wonder Christmas cruise. Have just started making lists. Very excited!

This is our first Christmas away from home too! We're flying down on th 19th and leaving on the 2nd of Jan. Can't wait. Just itching to pack. LOL

Not going until March..But wishing you all an extra magical visit to the World during this special time. :santa::santa:
Save travels, beats the snow and cold of Canada

Driving down Dec. 10th and flying back on Jan. 5th. Staying at FW in our travel trailer. This will be our 6th Christmas at Disney. I have begun to pack the travel trailer. Can hardly wait to see the mouse!!:santa:

Wow, lots of us are going to be down there this Christmas!

We arrive on Dec 21 and leave on Dec 30. We fly since driving from northeast Alberta is, well, just crazy! We fly out of Edmonton at 6:37 AM and arrive in Orlando at 4:16 PM!

Getting excited as we've just received our DME documents!:cool1:

Let's hope it actually happens this time though - last time due to missed connections etc we got to the Poly at 4am after travelling since 6am :scared1:

Ouch! I thought we had it rough in March/08 when we got in at 1 AM instead of the expected 7:00 PM. We had our snag in Denver. Had a gate, had a crew, but no plane! Seems it came in from Mexico and they wouldn't release it from the international terminal for some reason.

As you say, maybe this year will be smoother!

Have a great trip, all!:)

Mines a long bad AC story through Toronto - from start to finished competely bungled by AC for us and about 30 other Calgary passengers.

I have total faith that the universe will be smiling on both of us this holiday season :grouphug:

Hope everyone has a fab holiday - I would bet at least one of our family each day will have a Flames item on (or something identifying us as Canadian) - please say hi :santa:

OMG! I am sooo jealous! I would love to go to WDW for Christmas! We are going the last week of November 2010 so at least we will enjoy the decorations and holiday festivities in the parks.
I hope you have a fantastic holiday.....Merry Christmas!
