My brother has 5 boys ages 6 - 16, therefore I have 5 nephews to buy for at Christmas time.

I usually like to get them the same item, but in either different sizes, colors, etc. The sizes range from Sizes 8 child to Adult Large.

Last year I was able to get them a Movie Ticket each and a Champion Yankees T-shirt each. This was a Big Hit with them. :cool1:

Who doesn't want to be the cool aunt.:goodvibes

I try to keep the budget to around $25 per child, give or take $5.

Any Ideas????

Do they have a Wii? How about a Wii game, Wii Sports or Wii Party and then get an accessory kit for it and divide it up for each boy, wii golf club, paddle, bow, etc.? And maybe some candy with each accessory?

I would say since you spend about $125-$150 for the kids, why not give them a family gift. Maybe a day out at a local museam or sporting tickerts, depending on where you / they live.

Also, movie tickets are always a good hit, as well as gift cards.

How about a family game & Dairy Queen GC if they have one close? Pizza & ice cream? Family membership somewhere? Since we never go to the movies, tickets would be huge in our house. They would probably love those again since there are 5 of them!

nerf guns. For some reason our kids (18-13 now) all love them. And extra bullets.

I probably should have mentioned that I was asked not to get any toys and Gift Certificates for any fast food places.

Their house is filled with toys and the boys have food allergies.

Just to give you an idea, in the past I have bought them each their own sleeping bag, sporting duffle bags, under armour tees, and sweatshirts.

I want to get them Movie Tickets again. The cost would be $10.00 per ticket = $50, but what can I buy in addition for around $15 -$20 per child as an additional gift.

We get together on Christmas Eve and I really want them each to open a present.

All ideas welcomed.

Here are some ideas:

* flashlight or headlamp
* books
* old navy fleece - they have awesome sales ALL the time!!

If they don't already have one, do they have room for a ping pong table? There are usually deals on BF for $100 tables. You can wrap individually paddles, net and balls for each kid to have a package to unwrap. Our family loves to play and gives them something to do during the winter.

Itunes or bookstore gift cards.

Wii point gift cards (if they already own a wii). My boys and my DH love to download old games, they start as low as $5.

I would steer clear of sports balls. I went through our bucket of balls a couple years ago. Sent sets (one for each sport) to grandma's and aunt's houses, kept one set for us and still ended up donating a bunch. If they have played sports, most times they already have them.

Comic books - my boys recently discovered Calvin & Hobbes and love them. I picked up some good condition used books on Amazon for less than $5.

Ping pong table is great idea ! one of our family members have one, Thanksgiving evening is all out ping pong war for everyone.

I also love the Nerf guns, my oldest is 21 and baby is 8, they chase each other around all the time with theirs.

extra bullets are a must.

Books
magazine subscription for each one
slippers
robes
T's with their favorite characters on
A bobble head or other collectible from their favorite sports team for their room

Yes, this...

Or go to the dollar store and get one of those battery operated foam disc guns for each of them...my MIL did this a couple years ago for my kids & their cousins and it ended up being the DAD's that stole them and had a massive war when the gift unwrapping ceased. :rotfl:

I also agree with the nerf stuff but she said no toys :confused3

So if nerf isn't considered a toy get nerf stuff. They even take them to college.

why not a movie gift card for the $25 each? that way they can either see 2 movies and buy a coke or one movie and snacks.
