My family and I will be at disneyland december 23rd - 27th. Do they have a special dinner (bufffet or table service) in the park or at any of the disney properties? If so, when do they start taking reservations?

thank you!

We had Christmas dinner one year at Storytellers. The food was meh, however we loved the brunch we just had there last week, so not sure why Christmas was so off.

All the dinner buffets will offer Christmas specials, as will Napa Rose and likely Carthay Circle. Look for reservations at 60 days.

Thank you! Glad to know they will have special dinners and i’ll be sure to book at 60 days out as i assume they’ll go quickly.

I’m here at disneyland today and have reservations for this evening at Storytellers. It’ll be our first time dinning here.

I will add this tidbit about Christmas Eve. We tried to get food at Trader Sam's for our Christmas Eve meal. They told us they didn't have a full kitchen (assuming it was for the other holiday meals) and we could only get fryer meals. So we had some of the long beans, fries, and a round of drinks then went and ate a Pacific Wharf. It was pretty disappointing because we all had a meal planned out for Trader Sam's.

Trader Sam's has a very limited kitchen and really is not much of a restaurant (more bar food). (I'm curious what meal you had planned out?)

Ideas for Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner are Goofy's, Storytellers, Napa, Carthay, the Jazz Kitchen, and Catal. These generally have something a little on the special side for Christmas for their menu. There are a lot of other regular restaurants (Naples, Uva, Tortilla Jo's, Carnation, Wine Country) that will be open, they just may not have a special menu.

They have a decent menu, no? I realize it's a bar but I would consider them a restaurant based on these options. I just wanted to warn anyone who wanted to go there during the holidays for a meal.

Our tradition at home is to have sushi on Christmas Eve, so we were going to go with poke bowls, salmon salad, and the Rongo salad. I'm vegetarian and my family eats fish. Our options were anything fried, the burger, and chicken wings.
