Christmas Eve feedback

Trying to have several different options for Christmas eve. Right now it looks like this will be one of the better days to be at MK so that is our plan but would prefer to be out of the park by mid-day having done RD. Anyone do anything similar and have comments or suggestions? (We plan on doing DHS Osborne lights and Candlelight Processional on other nights. We do have FD)

Options for afternoon / evening (no particular order):

1) Visit monorail hotels to check out decorations, O'Hana for dinner, fireworks from beach (should I be concerned about any of the construction at the Poly?)

2) Take boat to WL, enjoy decorations, dinner at Whispering Canyon or lounge, watch fireworks from boat on way back to MK (if we can time it right - how hard is this?)

3) Take boat to WL and walk over to Fort Wilderness. Dinner at Trails End and then wagon ride around campground to see lights, watch fireworks from beach before heading back to boat and then to CSR where we are staying. (Anyone take wagon ride at this time of year - does it fill up? Would a "sleigh" ride be better)

4) If we can score a BOG dinner reservation we may take a break to the pool (weather permitting), nap and then return for dinner and fireworks at MK

5) Take a break to the pool / nap and then return to CG for evening appetizers and dessert followed by fireworks from their viewing spot

Love to hear what you would do!

We did Christmas week last year. We did the wagon ride and Ft. Wilderness and it was fun. Seeing all the camps decorated was very festive. We stayed at the Wilderness lodge so it was an easy boat ride. In my biased opinion, the Wilderness Lodge is the prettiest hotel at Christmas. They also will probably have a photopass photographer there in the lobby by the tree. In the evenings usually around 6 or so there is a character in the lobby in holiday attire. My recommendation would be eat dinner at Wilderness Lodge and enjoy the tree and character then take the boat ride over for the wagon ride. You can see the fireworks from the beach, but there isn't any music. Book the ride early because it was completely full when we were there. Have fun!
