We spent our Christmas Eve dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe. Although the grandparents had taken our DDs to dinner there several years ago, it was the first time DH and I had been. We weren't entirely sure what to expect but were certainly glad we went. We were seated in the overflow area outside the actual restaurant and away from most of the ruckus that is typical at dinnertime. WL was beautifully decorated and provided the perfect setting for our Christmas Eve celebration. The food was fantastic as both DH and I had the Canyon Skillet (we especially loved the pulled pork barbecue). But the best part of all was that we had Heada Lettuce as our server. We didn't find out until tonight that she was on the boards and was so popular among DIS members! She truly made our evening special and was such a joy to be with. She really made the entire experience a treat. We've had a couple of other sit-down meals at other restaurants on-site and none of the servers have been nearly as good as Heada Lettuce. Thanks for making our Christmas Eve dinner so special. We look forward to dining with you again soon!
