Hi everyone!

We're headed to WDW December 18th - 24th. We go every year and know the ins and outs of a holiday vacation at WDW. On Christmas Eve (morning - before the parks open), we're checking into Royal Pacific for two nights before heading home on the 26th. We got a really, really good Florida resident rate at Royal Pacific and WDW is crazy pricey on those two nights - even using DVC points.

We haven't been to IOA/Universal in about five years. We have one daughter. She is on the spectrum so she doesn't ride a whole lot. She's also not interested in anything scary or really much from Nickelodeon. We're mostly going to soak in the atmosphere. Our only "plan" right now is to eat at Mythos since we did last time and loved it. Being that she's a teen now, she's looking forward to shopping at CityWalk.

Any thoughts on how we should plan the two days? I think we'll much prefer IOA to U.S. I'm still debating on passes. I'm not sure we'll be back as the Harry Potter thing really is not at all for us so I don't think we need A.P.'s We have PAP's at WDW.

Thanks for any help.

Since you're staying onsite, I wouldn't worry to much about planning and since you're mainly going for the atmosphere, just relax and enjoy yourselves for the holiday. I don't think the crowds will be bad until after Christmas so you're leaving at the right time.
