End of the night, deflated, he comes homes and tells his dad about his failure. Well son, I have a gift for you anyway - Fraiser opens the gift to find the very toy he was looking for!!! Sob.... "Just what I wanted"...

Really, gets me every time..

I loved the Diff'rent Strokes episode where Arnold had an ET lamp and they got robbed! I also liked the Three's Company episode, and last years The Middle.

LOVED Big Bang Theory where Sheldon got Penny the gift baskets and Penny got him the Napkin signed and USED by Leonard Nimoy.!

For some reason, the two that stick in my mind the most are both from Frasier. It's odd because while I liked Frasier, it wasn't what I'd call a favorite show. Anyway:
1) Niles is in a pagaent and comes to Frasier's apartment dressed as Jesus while Frasier is entertaining a Jewish girl he just met and her mother, who happen to think that he is Jewish, too. I haven't seen it in a long time but it's hysterical!!
2) Frasier's dad is supposed to sing O Holy Night and he is, well, less than talented!

I also like the Friends where the heater broke in Monica and Rachel's apartment and it was sweltering for their party. And they thought that their super was avoiding fixing it because they had only given him cookies for a Christmas bonus.

Love the M*A*S*H Christmas episodes (have them DVR'd). But, my favorite has to be a "The West Wing" episode where they bury a homeless Marine at Arlington National Cemetery.

Yes, that's the one where Toby shines.

I just thought of an even better West Wing Christmas episode. It's the one where Josh has PTSD from the shooting in the episode before and freaks out whenever he hears music. Yo Yo Ma is on that one.

ok. one of my fav's is not touching or sentimental just funny, it'sa Seinfeld episode : the nipple christmas card. (where Kramer takes Elaines picture for her christmas card and she sends the photo out to everyone, family, friends, co-workers, her priest. After the card is sent out someone points out to Elaine that her blouse was open. She was mortified)

I remember a Christmas episode of Designing Women that left me bawling. It was when (what was her name? Charlene?) had her baby.

I'd love to see it again!

I love that one too! I miss that show, wish Lifetime or Nick at Nite/TV Land would bring it back

I wait every year for The Office Christmas party episode. This year I loved the snowball fight between Dwight and Jim.

And the second one that came to mind, like a PP, was the Seinfeld nipple episode. I also love the cashmere sweater one! . . .cashmere. . .cashmere!

Oh what a great thread!!! My new fav episode is from Two and a Half Men - when Alan dates his cooking class teacher who is a "nester" a/c to Charlie! By the end of the episoden they look like they've put on 30lbs!

Dear Dad(1st season) Radar's sending home a jeep piece by piece;Klinger almost bombs Frank; Hawkeye descends from the chopper dressed as Santa.

Dear Sis(either 6th or 7th season) Father Mulcahy writes a letter to his sister.FM doesn't feel he is effective around the 4077 and details some examples. He punches out a soldier who is not letting Magaret help him. He feels so guilty about that. At the end of the episode, when everyone is in the mess tent and feeling sorry about not being home for Christmas,Hawkeye raises a toast to FM. They all start to sing Dona Nobis Pacem(Hawk:If you want,I could translate that for you). Thre isn't a dry eye in the house.

My favorite Bones Christmas is when the DA is feeling puckish and wants Brennan and Booth to kiss under the mistletoe for 10 Mississippis.

-The Gilmore Girls episode where they celebrate Christmas late since Rory was in Europe and the one where Luke makes Lorelai a Santa Burger.
-The I Love Lucy episode where all four dress up like Santa for little Ricky and then the "real" Santa shows up.
