Hi, Me and my family are going to be spending our christmas day at Magic Kingdom and we cant decide on where to eat, We're stuck between Cinderellas Round Table and Liberty Tree Tavern. I'm just wondering if they have a christmas menu, whats the food like, which would you reccomend and any infomation on them both which you think i should know about. Thanks, Jack

We went to Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch on Christmas day in 2007 and loved it!! Instead of having the normal lunch menu they serve it family style. You start off with salad with strawberry vinaigrette and freshly baked rolls - the rolls there are insanely good and are served with honey butter!! Then they serve the main course which was turkey, ham, stuffing, potatoes, and mac-and-cheese. Then for dessert we had some type of cobbler that was very good. I would definitely consider going here for your Christmas dinner (or lunch); it would be a lot cheaper than CRT. We are going there for Christmas this year, so maybe we will see you in the park! :goodvibes

We did LTT for our Christmas dinner in 2007 and were not all that impressed. The characters were fun but the food was by far not our favorite. Someone on another thread mentioned the food seeming like "Stouffers" and I would totally agree. We very much prefer CRT and went back in 2008 too. However, we've never done CRT on Christmas so I can't tell you if there is a special menu. I would choose CRT over LTT hands down, especially now that the characters are gone from LTT.

I would do LTT.That said, if you decide on ANY of the MK restaurants for Christmas Day Dinner.Plan on getting to the MK for rope drop and staying there. If the MK closes for capacity ( and it does pretty much every Christmas), if it is a Phase 4 closing, they do not let anyone in or back in .That includes people with dining reservations, even prepaid ones like CRT. Get there early and hang for the duration.

I will be at wdw on xmas day. I have read that some people have made adr for xmas. My understanding is 90 days out that would be 9/26/09 if I'm wrong pls. advise. Thank you.

We made our ADRs on Sunday. If you are staying at a Disney resort, then you can make your ressies 90 days from the beginning of your stay. If you are not staying on property than you would make them on 9/26 for Christmas day.

Thank you PB I thought I was off the mark. We are staying off site. Enjoy your xmas!

We are trying to decide...we are planning on doing MK on Christmas day but do we want to do dinner there or leave....do dinner at a resort restaurant and then go back to our hotel and spend the rest of the evening with our family.
If you went and had a choice of where to eat Christmas dinner where would you go?
