christmas dinner

we have a party of 15 going to diney on christmas day and we have ps at crystal palace.what i was wondering is this a good place?this is my first time to book for disney and going there and dont know of any other place.and what is there on christmas day to do at disney.like any fireworks or prades or any anything specail to do.we also have ps at chef mickeys on christmas eve for breakfast.at 10 am.cannt wait to go.any info would help..thank you

Hi Jessie32 - Crystal Palace (CP) is a character buffet with characters from Pooh and Friends- so if you have alot of children in your party (or child-like people ) than you will probably enjoy it.

You didn't say whether your PS was for breakfast, lunch or dinner - and I wanted to give you a word of warning about the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day- it will be crowded!!! So crowded that they may close the park to new visitors early in the day (before noon?)- and they close the parking lot to the MK very early as well (so if you are staying off-site, you won't be able to park)-----Soooo, if your PS is for lunch or dinner, I would make sure that you are at the park early in the day and plan to stay there all day (If the park is closed to new visitors, then they won't let you in for your PS)(Note, as people leave the MK, they will let in additional visitors- so there is a chance that you could get in later in the afternoon (say after the parade, but before the crowds coming to see Spectro arrive)but this is hard to time, and you may end up waiting outside the gates)

. There are many people on this board who go to the MK on Christmas and love it- they will have the Christmas parade as well as fireworks (schedules should be out soon). Jill

Hey Jessie we are also eating at the crystal palace on Christmas day. We are a group of 19. What time is your seating for? Its going to be some much fun!!!

NASMITH-we are going to be there for dinner.hope it will be fun for the older adults.there will be 4 kids and the rest are 3 yyounger teens and the rest are adults.it sounds like it will be.

do you know when the are putting the info out about the dinners and what they are doing at mk on that day?and what web site can i go to?

Hi- I don't know if they will publish info on your dinner- I believe it's just business as usual (but you can call 407-wdw-dine and ask). As far as events go-- the December hours have been posted:

lol we will be there at 4:20. we will be there at the same time. we also have reservations for new years eve at epcot. When will you be in disney until?

JESSBABY-we have to look for each other.that would be so cool to meet up with you.we will be in disney from 12-20 to 1-3.i can not wait to go.i have real nothing plan to do for new years eve.but to be right in disney.where do you have res for new years eve?how long will you be there for? lol i think i would meet anybody on here that would be there as the same time as me.we have to meet christmas day.
