Has anyone heard yet if any special Christmas Day Dinner plans have been released or when they will be? I'll probably be calling for dining PS in the next couple of days; I'll ask then. But just curious if anyone knew anything! Thanks!
:D

I know nothing either but just thought I'd commiserate. I'm planning to call tomorrow to make a PS for Christmas dinner. We're thinking Narcoosee's as we will fly down earlier that day and don't want to venture too far on that busy day.

Just made ressie at Narcoosee for Christmas dinner. CM said there is a special Christmas dinner that required my CC#. Sorry I did not ask for the menu. There's a 48 hour cancellation and $10 will be charged per person for no-shows or late cancellations.

We were in WDW last Christmas and it seemed that none of the restaurants had "special" menus for Christmas dinner. I kept calling and calling before we left and I didn't see or hear of any. I did ask the concierge and was told they usually only offer a special menu for Thanksgiving. We ate at Narcoossee's for Christmas dinner and it was WONDERFUL!!! The menu was dated 12/24 - 12/25, but didn't look much different from their usual menu. I'd make your reservations at your restaurant of choice and just enjoy, that's what we did and had a wonderful time!!! Also, since Christmas is a holiday, WDW dining requires a CC hold on all PS's on a holiday, we had to provide one last year.

I made a PS for the California Grill for Christmas Dinner. They had 3 seatings, and I got the 8:30. (sorry, I can't remember the other times.)

It's a price fixe menu, $45.00 per adult, excluding tax and gratuity. The CM told me that it appeared that the menu choices would be goose, filet, salmon or venison.

It required a credit card hold, with a 48 hour cancellation policy.

dvcreg - we'll be there at 8:30, too!!! I'm not too happy about the choices for dinner, maybe they'll add chicken or something for the less adventurous!!

I made a PS for Narcoossee's, too. I asked about the menu and he checked but said they didn't have one listed yet although they do have one for Thanksgiving. We considered CG, too, but I think we'll wait for their regular menu on the 27th...so many things we like on the regular menu. Yum! I also like dimmer lighting for Christmas as we dine by candlelight on Christmas at home. We made our reservations to take advantage of the codes so we have to check in on the 25th but now I'm feeling a little sad that we won't be home. But we will do church and Christmas Eve dinner at home so I guess I should cheer up. Anyone else feeling sad? I know I should be excited that I just made the first PS for that trip.

A little sad, maybe......but we planned this trip halfway thru reading the book "Skipping Christmas". There are 12 of us going and I am sad because one brother and family is not coming with us.

DisneyHumbug, don't you want to see how your goose is cooked??;) ;) (Bad pun, couldn't resist.)

We're still considering dining in one of the parks, but, for now, we have a great dining experience all set.

I'm very excited about this trip. With DS graduating from college, youngest DD graduating from HS, who knows when we'll be able to do this again.

Just made our 6:30 PM Christmas Dinner at Citricous. There is a special menu...CC # required but not charged. $45 per person...

Roast Duck, Ham, Strip Sirloin, Smoked Salmon, Vension, Roasted Peppers, 2 types of Soup one being a Lobster type, Shrimp Cocktail, Sweet Potatoes and much more. I couldn't write as fast as she was talking. I booked it this morning at 7:30 AM and she said she only had a few seating times left!!!!

Sounds great!!!

Had dinner last Christmas Eve at CG with the fixed price menu, it was an awesome evening! Doing the same this Christmas Eve and Chef Mickey's Christmas Day (DS said he had a dream about eating there for Christmas).

The menu at Citrico's sounds so good, too....maybe I'll have to poll the troops again...Narcoossee's, Citricos or CG. In 1999, we arrived on Christmas Day and dined at Rose and Crown so two of our kids could have prime rib. That was fun, too.
