I need to make a dinner reservation ASAP for Christmas Night. We'd like to either make a reservation for somewhere in MK or Epcot. :santa:

Something festive or with entertainment would be a bonus!

Thanks!

My family had dinner at Le Cellier in EPCOT - went to the Candlelight Pro. first and then to dinner (I know it has changed). It was beautiful, relaxing, and pretty quiet for a nice family dinner!

Enjoy!

I would also suggest Le Cellier with the candlelight. We ate at WCC this past Chrsitmas day and it was pretty BAD:(

My only concern would be, if the park fills to capacity. Would that happen AT Epcot ?? And would they let you in anyway if you had an ADR ?

Just some thoughts.

If you are a resort guest, it is my understanding that they would let you in. I would go to the processional and LeCellier or Biergarten which is very Christmasy. We loved the food at Trls End last year. It was fun and just like what I would have c ooked.

The last post is not totally correct. If the park reaches max capacity they will close the park to ALL guests including resort guests. This has happened at MK the last 3 New Year's Eves. It does not matter if you have adr or not..when capacity is reached they have to do this. It is a teared closing with the final one being resort guests. It is also a fluctuating condition..if a crowd leaves....a crowd can enter. MK is the one I have seen it happen the most(it happened to our friends on xmas day 2002,they had LTT (ps then) for 6:30pm and were not allowed in at 5:30pm. Epcot is so large and spread out that we have not had any problem getting in on a holiday(xmas or NYE). This year we at seeing CP on xmas eve and eating at Teppanyaki and then on xmas day choosing resorts for meals to allow us flexibility:breakfast at 1900PF at 10:30am and late dinner at Calif Grill at 9:30pm(we may venture into MK after dinner when the crowds with kids have gone home(its open late).
Have fun the holidays are magical at WDW

I was surprised by the post above. We had our Christmas meal at WCC last year and enjoyed it so much that we are returning again this year. I remember reading a lot of positive posts about the holiday meal at WCC after we returned from our December trip.

Kona for Christmas Eve dinner last year was wonderful, but the menu was pretty much the standard one. This year, we are going to Ca Grill for Christmas Eve dinner. We also considered Boma and Le Cellier.

Sorry I did explain better. First we did not realize that there was no menu and just a set meal and did not care at all for the food that was served. Very limited and none of us enjoyed it al all:(

Thank you everyone for your replies. Here is what I have booked for dinners on our upcoming stay, can you please comment on the restaurants and let me know if I should change anything?

Christmas Day - Tonlys Town Square

Dec 26 - Candlelight Processional w/ Biergarten

Dec 27 - Chef Mickeys (breakfast), Mama Melrose (dinner)

Dec 28 - 1900 Park Fare w/ Cinderella and Friends

Dec 29 - Open day, still unsure what to book.

Thank you again for all your help !!

Sounds fine-just make sure to get to MK early and plan to stay. I wouldn't risk park hopping that day as you may not get back in(see my post above). We love Mama Melrose had great lunch there last xmas week. Have not eaten at Biergarten or 1900PF for dinner(had breakfast there and it was wonderful-as were the characters). We are doing CP 12/24 at Teppanyaki(like this place and it DS's favorite). Have not done Chef Mickey's-not my style..too loud and too much going on. I'm sure you will have a great time. That time of year is wonderful at WDW-we have been for the last 3 years and returning this year.

Connears -

Yes, we definitely plan on getting to MK and staying there for the remainder of the night. I've heard the parks are crazy on Christmas and I don't want to risk getting shut out!

Thanks again for the advice! :wave2:
