I am bringing dessert this year for Christmas dinner. I will be making an apple pie, banana bread and chocolate puddin pie. I also bought a cupcake tree too.

So what are you having for dessert on Christmas day?

Juniors cheesecake
Chocolate triffle all chocolate and gooey.

We have shortbread cookies, butter tarts and lemon snow with custard. Soooooo good. My grandma only makes the lemon snow for Christmas and Easter, so it's a special treat! I can't wait. :cloud9:

Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. And cookies. Lots of cookies.

A chocolate cake from Whole Foods. I gave DD a choice either pumpkin and pecan pie (which I would have to bake) or a chocolate cake. Thank goodness she loves chocolate.

Pumpkin Cake w/ Cream Cheese Frosting. It's been a Christmas Day staple in our family since my great-grandmother's time.

A gingerbread and pumpkin mousse tart. It is gingerbread cake on the bottom topped with a mousse made of cool whip, butterscotch pudding, pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice and decorated with a bit more cool whip.

It is yummy and there is never any left over.

I just finished my baking. I made a sweet potato pie instead of the banana bread. I also made gingerbread people for DH, but they are not for Christmas. He likes them plain, so not much work.

We are having our holiday dinner tomorrow and will be having spumoni with italian cookies for dessert. Christmas day is buffet style so we will have breads, cookies, cakes, and pies.

I was going to make a red velvet cake but no one seemed to be in the mood for it or any other desert in particular so I am going to just go with a fruit tray with dip and the cookies we've already made.

Since we are having breakfast for Christmas, we won't have many deserts. The only one that I am bringing is what my family has always called "pink stuff". It's Cool Whip, 1 can of cherry pie filling, 1 can of sweetened condensed, 1 small can of drained crushed pinapples, and then chopped walnuts (nuts are optional). We have it at every holiday, and it's just not the same without it.

Christmas cookies (we have to make some for Santa)
Peanut butter balls
Cheesecake bar

Strawberry cheesecake.
Cookie tray including: butterscotch gingerbread cookies, rasberry shortbread cookies, chocolate chip cookie bars and espresso brownies. :santa:

When we go to my mom's house she makes "green stuff" but I won't touch it with a 10 foot pole. However if her's was like your I probably would love it. Hers has lime green jello, and shreaded cheese. Yes, the woman puts shreaded chedar cheese in lime jello. My brother and sister and I always teased her about it and told her just how gross we think it is, but she keeps making every year. She says it's a "family tradition". This past Thanksgiving when she gave that reason for making it my response was "well that's one tradition that will die with you mom".:lmao:
