Christmas Dinner at Sanaa or Artist Point

We are staying at AKL from Dec 20-26. Looking for a special meal for Christmas evening dinner. We plan to go to Animal Kingdom on Christmas Day to avoid the MK crowds and make it an early day. Would like to have a relaxing, sit-down dinner at a restaurant outside of the park that offers some more traditional Christmas meal options. One person in our party is more a traditional meat-and-potatoes person. The rest of us are more adventurous. I saw from DFB last year Sanaa had some Christmas food options. I really do want to try their bread service. Other option I was thinking of was Storybook Dining at Artist Point. I know last year they did not have any special menu items for Christmas, but how can you go wrong with Christmas dinner at Wilderness Lodge. Last year we had Christmas dinner at California Grill and it was really special.

Any thoughts/experience with Christmas dinner at Sanaa or Artist Point? Will Disney Springs restaurants be too crazy for Christmas day night?

Artist Point- Wilderness Lodge is so stunning for Xmas. Perfect atmosphere (and is good for your meat and potato eaters)

We will *also* be at AKL Dec 20-26 - it's a small world after all! We are doing a rest day on Christmas day, so were also trying to decide on a nice, non-park-based dinner. Initially, we were strongly leaning towards Artist Point. Ultimately, though, we decided we wanted to make the most of our time staying at AKL and lean into a full resort day. We ended up booking Jiko for dinner that night, as it is the only AKL restaurant we haven't tried yet. Sorry I can't offer any specific insights on Christmas dinner at Sanaa or Artist Point, but all that to say they both seem like great options!

Artist Point simply because nothing beats WL for Xmas. I can’t even imagine the magic that would be Xmas night- can you do a later ADR? I’d consider it as that might give you lighter crowds after dinner for photo taking. AKL will be gorgeous in its own right for sure but classic Xmas on a scale only Disney can do is found at WL. (If transport is a concern rideshares are allowed for ADRs.)
