christmas decorations

We will be in orlando from Oct 29-Nov 6...will any of disney world be decorated for Christmas...would we be able to hit the party at MK or is that too soon....I am trying to convince my husband to go for just one day if there is decorations. With our dollar being horrible I won't spend the money If there is no decorations.

You will be there while the Halloween decorations are still up for the 1st 2-3 days of your trip - and so will MNNSHP. After that they'll be removing the Halloween decorations while they begin to decorate for Christmas. Not sure when they will be done nor when the 1st MVMCP will be, but I think Nov 6 might be too soon.

It will all depend on the date of the first MVMCP. You may see some stuff at the MK towards the end of your trip, but Nov 1 is usually a MNSSHP date, so no change over will happen until after that. And I think the MK is usually one of the first things switched over to Christmas, everything will trickle after that, with it all being completed by Thanksgiving.

Christmas decorations usually go up around November 15 or so. Try and do the Halloween show at MK MNNSHP. last yr it costs around $75.00, they will let you in at 4:30 and you can stay until 12:00. It is a good deal if you are only going for 1 day!

Just an FYI, We've been done for 3 Jersey weeks. So figure during & immediately following Halloween....All 3 times we've encountered not only ghouls & goblins , but also elves and lights n stuff...We've also gotten to see Osbornes Spectacle of lights every single time too.

It'll be sad that we won't be seeing that again, this upcoming trip. ( for it is gone )

Also FWIW..We didn't want to spend the extra $212 it would've cost us for the party, so we ended up doing a haunted(not really)carriage ride at Fort Wilderness..This was like $62 for all for of us... Unfortunately they don't have that anymore either...

We arrived on Nov. 3rd this past year and MK was decorated. It was beautiful.
