Christmas Decorations ?

I am heading out to CA for work for two weeks probably early November- when do the Christmas Decoration go up?

I believe the official kick off of the holiday season, with parades, fireworks, etc, is 11/21. However plenty of decorations will be up throughout November, with more going up every night.

I was there october 30th one year and decorations were already up in parts of New orleans square. Have fun!

I would think that that because Halloween is becoming such a thing for DLR now that they would hold off on the Christmas decorations until AFTER Halloween decorations had come down.

I thought that I had read on another thread not to long ago, that decorations start appearing after Veteran's Day (Nov 11).

Thanks- I will have only one day to venture to the mouse. Unfortunately I am seeing a chriropractor for my back - so rides are not going to be high on my entertainment list- but would love the season!

Last year they went up Nov 16th. so I would think the middle of the month. But I could be wrong.

It was the best time to go for me. I loved every minute of the holiday season at DL.

Christmas decorations start showing up a few days after Halloween. IIRC, the Christmas tree was up on the 12th last year.
