I was just curious, are all the Christmas decorations usually up by Thanksgiving?? Also are all the Christmas activities going on by then, such as Santa's Beach Blast, Santa's Reindeer Roundup, etc. Just curious, thank you advance for your advice.:goodvibes

The Christmas decorations start to appear the week after Halloween. I believe that Christmas kicks off in full swing around Thanksgiving day. Enjoy your trip! I've been on Thanksgiving day as well and it is so fun!

Usually the kick off is the weekend before Thanksgiving. That's when I normally go. It's much less crowded than over Thanksgiving!;)

I thought the kick-off was over Veteran's Day weekend? Anyone know for sure? We were planning on going a couple days after Veteran's Day so will be there the following weekend, but I don't want to miss the Santa's Reindeer Round-up and Christmas parade & fireworks. Are these going by then?

I have no idea about the Reindeer Round up, but according to WDTC the first day of the Christmas parade/fireworks is November 21.

If you check this link from another website
http://www.laughingplace.com/Guide-Cal-DLR2-200711.asp the Xmas Parade and Fireworks started daily from 11/16/07. It was like the 3rd Friday of the month.

We go every year for Thanksgiving and it is in all out Christmas mode!!! WONDERFUL!!!

And of course the Haunted Mansion Holiday will be up long before that since it's Halloween/Christmas.

Christmas at Disneyland is great. And it's even better if you go in November, I think.
