I was just wondering when the christmas decorations will be up at disney!

They will start going up immediately after Halloween Time decorations come down (first week of November). However, the holiday entertainment, etc. won't start until Nov. 16.

From what I read over at DisneyMouseLinks:

It's A Small World Holiday will debut on November 9th

Disneyland will be fully decked out for Christmas, including the very large Christmas Tree in Town Square on November 9th

Fireworks and the snow will show at 9:25 nightly beginning November 9th

Santa's Reindeer Roundup in Big Thunder Ranch opens November 9th

A "Christmas Fantasy" Parade will begin nightly appearances on Friday, November 16th. During the peak times and on weekends, this parade will perform 2 times daily. (Peak times are typically weekends, Thanksgiving weekend, and the week between Christmas and New Years.)

In addition the Haunted Mansion will still have the NBX (Jack rulez!) theme through the holidays.

We're happy we'll be able to catch some of these events next week. =)

sound pretty accurate... all the holiday stuff are sitting and ready to go... :)

Interesting. As of now there are fireworks only scheduled for the 9th, 10th and 11th (Fri Sat Sun) during our week there.

Yeah, not sure how accurate all the information is, only that it is posted over at the other forum. I've been able to corroborate some of the details (It's a small world opens on the 9th), but not all of them (like the Snow or Reindeer Round-up). Guess I'll find out next week (7th-11th).

Hmmmm. . . that doesn't exactly match up with what they are reporting over at MousePlanet, or with what the Disneyland.com calendar states.

Remember Dreams Come True is scheduled on the DL calendar to show the weekend of Nov. 9. They don't have Believe in Holiday Magic fireworks showing until Nov. 16.

Here's the Disney Press release:

As the "Year of a Million Dreams" continues in full swing, the
DISNEYLAND® Resort will be decked out for the holidays with dazzling
decor, magical parades, and festive shows and attractions every day
from
November 16 through January 6. The parks will be trimmed with wreaths,
lights, garland and other decor, and strolling holiday performers,
including the Dickens Carolers, will make musical merriment all season
long.

Extended park hours for DISNEYLAND® Park and DISNEY'S CALIFORNIA
ADVENTURE® Park will be in effect for much of the season, and DOWNTOWN
DISNEY® District and the Hotels of the DISNEYLAND® Resort will join
in
the fun with twinkling lights and ornaments, special entertainment and
holiday dining.

Again this year, we have "Santa's Reindeer Round-Up" at Big Thunder
Ranch in Frontierland. The ranch will be transformed into a "West Pole"
getaway where Santa will unwind with Mrs. Claus and his team of
reindeer. Kids and their families can chat with St. Nick, see real
reindeer grazing in a corral, play some reindeer games, create
take-home
Yuletide souvenirs and join in holiday line dances with music from a
Western trio.

"Haunted Mansion Holiday" is back with a madcap celebration where the
traditions of Halloween and Christmas collide. The ghoulish but
well-meaning Jack Skellington from the film "Tim Burton's The Nightmare
Before Christmas" has come to the "Haunted Mansion" to transform it
with
his skewed vision of the holidays.

DISNEYLAND® Park's annual holiday parade, "A Christmas Fantasy," will
be
presented November 16 through January 6 on Main Street, U.S.A. This
ever-popular procession depicts an enchanting collection of holiday
scenes, music and a cast of Disney characters and performers in
Yuletide
vignettes. Toy soldiers march in cadence, friendly snowmen dance and
Santa waves from a soaring sleigh as his reindeer prance below.

In Fantasyland, the classic "it's a small world" will again be "it's a
small world Holiday" with a seasonal overlay that transforms this
favorite DISNEYLAND® attraction into a holiday trip around the world.
More than 300,000 glittery lights adorn the attraction's facade.

The legendary fireworks spectacular, "Believe&In Holiday Magic," will
return with new surprises. This enchanting show will take Guests on a
magical journey of sights and sounds of the season that will feature a
new musical score, special effects, a series of dazzling snowfall
sequences and the parks signature Sleeping Beauty Castle glistening
with a blanket of freshly-fallen snow. The nighttime spectacular will
end with a touching rendition of "White Christmas" and one of the parks
most beloved holiday traditions: a climatic snowfall that swirls down
on
Main Street, U.S.A., Small World Mall and New Orleans Square.

DISNEY'S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE® Park will celebrate the season with
enhanced park-wide decorations and expanded entertainment offerings.
Each land will glow with Yuletide cheer day and night. At Flik's Fun
Fair, Flik and his bug buddies will spread giant Christmas lights,
oversized ornaments and towering candy canes throughout their realm.
Alongside Paradise Bay, a resplendent Christmas tree will provide a
dazzling sight as other nearby trees sparkle with hundreds of lights
and
wreathes adorn lampposts.

Sunshine Plaza will again become "Santa's Beach Blast," where the
Disney
characters playfully blend classic holiday images with the California
beach lifestyle. Santa the surfer will greet Guests near a Woody wagon
sleigh, and the area will be filled with seaside-style holiday
decorations.

"Block Party Bash," music and excitement are cranked to the max for
this
high-energy street extravaganza as Disney presents the Pixar Film pals,
who invite Guests to dance and play as they party along the performance
corridor. This wild block party entertains with a non-stop musical
parade that doubles as an interactive street spectacular.

I would believe the PR dates over any thing else. Thanks for sharing. At least It's a small world will be open on the 9th and we'll be able to see Jack at the haunted mansion. Those two are most important for our DD.
