Hi, has anyone bought any of the inflatable christmas characters from Walmart that you plug in, if so can you use them in the UK using an adaptor?

Unless they are rated at 230V AC you will need a step-down transformer. The US uses 120V AC.

A local resident buys all chritmas lights in America and puts on lovely show with proceeds going to charity :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

We have a lot of lights and inflatables that we bought from target on our previous trips, we use a blue step down transformer - like what an electrician would use on a building site (as all sites are 110v) to power them, we base this unit in our garage and use extensions to the items in the garden.

I think you will find that none of the lights etc will be dual voltage, you tend to only get that on expensive electricals.

HTH

you can buy in walmart a transformer pack. this cost around $19. we bought 2 and use them for our lights and also this year for the xmas palm tree i just bought.
