Christmas decorations

How long are the various Christmas decorations kept up? We are planning a trip from Jan. 1 through the 7th.

you might see some of them. I've never been there during that time, but i have been there on christmas day and all the decorations are GORGEOUS!

The decorations will start to come down just a couple of days after January 1. So do you touring early.

yes they are sold in all the parks and there is a big shop at downtown dis...you can also have them engraved or names painted on them as well there!!!I find a lot of them on ebay and have a huge collection ...

We were there thru 1/5/06. The majority of the decorations were still up when we left. Along about the 3rd the outdoor trees at the Contemporary were being taken down and the huge wreath at our resort was down that night, but by and large most stuff including the piped in holiday music was still up when we left on the 5th.

The O'sbourne lights are up til 1/7/07 also.

As for purchasing Christmas Decor, there are a number of year round shops in the parks and DTD.

We were there 1/1/06-1/7/06. All the decorations in the parks were still up and Christmas music was playing. I don't know about the different resorts. We stayed at AKL and they took the tree down on our last day. Good Luck!

Yes, they go up shortly before Thanksgiving.

Cool! I can't wait. I went Christmas crazy last year since it was mine and my DH's first time decorating our house for Christmas. I bought a ton of stuff but I am sure I can still find more stuff we *need*.

The Christmas decorations will still be up. I was there Jan. 4th-9th 2006 and all of the Christmas decorations were up except for the Gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian. I'm not sure whether other resorts had their Christmas decorations or not.
The Christmas music was still playing too.
