I couldn't believe my eyes when I went over to AK today! The huge Christmas tree was out in front of the entrance....as well as decorations throughout the park. They even had Christmas music playing in certain areas! Christmas just keeps coming earlier every year!

Well Thanksgiving is fast upon us. On my way to work yesterday I did pass by a home that already had Christmas decorations up. They were newly up to- as the day before they had their Halloween stuff out. I swear they must of went out at Midnight 10/31---11/1 and switched it up.

When I went to the store the day before Halloween to get candy, I passed Christmas trees, reindeer, and those mechanical gifts they have on display. And this was at our local supermarket :earseek: .

Wow! I loved AK at Christmas time. Did you happen to notice in Camp Minnie Mickey if the Campin' Carolers were back? They're a talented group of singers.

My family had already put our christmas tree up before Haloween, so a couple of trick or treaters decided to say "Merry Christmas" instead of "trick or treat"

Anyone got any pics that they can post of the xmas deccy's?

Parts of MGM have been getting ready since the August/September time frame. It takes a while to get all the lights and decorations up, so Disney just starts earlier to make sure it is done in time.

Simba's Mom, I did not notice any carolers, but we went through that area very fast. I only noticed the Christmas music coming from the "hidden" speakers. I didn't take any pictures though....the decorations caught me by surprise!

My DH doesn't like to put up the Christmas tree until after Thanksgiving. He says a month is long enough to have the tree up :confused3

Oh..WOO HOO!! While we have seen the Christmas decorations many times, we are going with our dance team this year and many have never even been to WDW. So, the addition of the holiday decorations will make it even more special! Two weeks from today, I will be at POR!! :cool1:
