Historically, by what date have the resorts and parks been decorated for Christmas? Thinking of a trip in November and hoping to see the decorations.

I think after Thanksgiving. We went late Nov and it was beautiful. All resorts were decorated, GF & CR gingerbread houses were up, etc.

Park decorations start going up the first of November. Resort decorations are more like the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Everything is up once Thanksgiving hits, but MK is decorated the first week of Nov. for start of Christmas parties(as soon as Halloween parties end) and castle begins lighting. Jingle Cruise will start then as well. Gingerbread house at GF is usually done midmonth, and resorts and other parks are started, but each is done on schedule, so some earlier, some later. Candlelight Processional and storytellers at Epcot don't start until Thanksgiving.

We usually go the middle of November leaving the WDW weekend before Thanksgiving. Due to the MVMCP the MK has been done done and so was DHS this year . Epcot had the tree up and was in the process of switching over the rest of the park once Food and Wine finished. The resorts were being worked on. POFQ was done before we headed home and the GFC Gingerbread house was openning our last day . I think by Thanksgiving most of the decorations are up
