I've read that people decorate their campsites for Christmas...I'm wondering about the cabins...do people decorate them, too?
Deb

I do not remember seeing any significant decorations in the cabin loops. I think a large majority of the people in the cabins fly down which makes bringing decorations difficult. The campsites on the other hand are an attraction in themselves. I have seen many campsites more decorated than what most people do at their homes. The holidays are a wonderful time to be at the fort.

We bring a small fiberoptic tree and put it in the window. I have seen others string lights and add other festive touches.

We drive so packing the decorations is much easier. We bring garland and lights for the deck, a tree with ornaments, wreaths, and our stockings. We bring a few of our smaller decorations such as candles, etc. It makes the cabin very fesitive!

These sound like a good idea! I was wondering if there was a place to plug in some lights on the deck. It would be fun to decorate a bit to get in the holiday spirit!

Yes, there is an electrical outlet on the deck.
