Christmas decorations down yet?

Everything is still here because we generally leave our tree and decorations up all winter. As long as there is a chance of snow or flurries or freezing temperature, it stays. We've left them up until Easter before! I love the ambience, particularly in the dark early mornings and evenings.
I’m missing that right now. It was a rough day at work and I’d love nothing more than to turn on the tree lights and cocoon on the couch.

We took down anything we put up before Jan 5th or so. It's because my son's birthday is shortly after so birthday decorations had to go up.

We do keep out my husand's Christmas village year round. I tried to convince him to put away the Christmas tree candle forest he keeps on the mantle and swap out for his ship collection but alas, they have won.

I managed to get the outdoor lights down today (turned them off after Jan 6th, but was waiting for a "warm for New England" day to actually climb up and take them down.)

Whelp winter weather is expected tomorrow night into Saturday with Sunday being uncomfortable for being outside to do stuff plus snow and all so before it got dark tonight we took down our outdoor decorations. They had to be down by end of day Saturday anyways but bittersweet to no longer see the lights from sitting on the couch you get used to that glow from the outside.

Indoor stuff will stay up for a bit longer.

People across the street still have their inflatables laying in the yard. And the snowman on the lamp post. I think it’s time.

That’s exactly how I feel. I still haven’t taken ours down yet either. It makes me feel good, so I don’t care.

Same....we only took outdoor wreath down. We got an artificial tree for Christmas 2020...and kept it up until March last year...we just like it up I guess. Still up this year. Think it'll come down in late February this year. We got a big snowstorm here in NJ this weekend and it's nice and cozy having it up. :).

We're finished except for the Christmas village and a couple of odds and ends. Been working on it slowly since last weekend. Normally I don't mind taking it down, since I'm getting ready for Mardi Gras. But during the pandemic, I've wanted to keep stuff up as long as possible. It's comforting.

no....I decorated neighbor across the street,, they have a wonderful weather ranch frame wood over the sidewalk gate....a long strand of plastic poinsetta color...just to beautiful and glittery u;nder the sunniest place on earth. the snowbirds will be here in a couple of weeks, they can take it down.

yes they are technically down... but many are still waiting to be packed away on the dining room table...

Our tree is still up. We just moved before Christmas so we have no room to store it and cannot find the totes that the ornaments were in.

Granted, I only have a small tree -but it's still up. As DVCgirl mentioned, with the snow yesterday it's actually kind of nice having it up. Plus, I prefer the lights of the tree lighting up the room vs some other light especially since it's dark fairly early still.
