Christmas decorations as early as November?

Thinking of doing a Cabin for our 10th Wedding Anniversary in November 2010.
We really loved our 5 days last Dec in a Cabin with a Golf Cart. My DH still talks about it!! So we were thinking of scrapping the OKW idea. One of the things that we LOVED was seeing all of the decorations at the campsites. Does anyone put up their decorations as early as Nov 6th??

That will be a little early but some will be starting. There are folks who start putting out Christmas the day after Halloween. But it won't really be in full swing, and none of Disney's decorations will be up yet. Hey, just add a couple of weeks!

Shan, why am I not surprised to see you posting here?

A lot of decorations will be up in MK by the time they have the first MVMCP - we went to the first one last year (I think 11/10). My advice is to avoid the first one it was very crowded. The fireworks are worth the price of admission by themselves!

As for decoration at FW - depends on the individuals but nothing would surprise me. Once MVMCP gets going, then the campers do too.......

And if you are inclined to use a rented golf cart, I suggest you look for the thread here on this board about 2 off-site vendors that, based on user reports, provide excellent service at a lower price than Disney.

Although you may be early, looping and seeing the Christmas decore' at night will be nice!

That's why I thought that maybe we'd see some decorations.

As for waiting a couple of weeks...That's a nice idea. But we really want to be in WDW on our 10th Anniversary!! And that is Nov 10.

Thanks for the suggestion about the golf cart. We are going to rent a car AND a golf cart...So I'll see what the other companies deal is and how easy it is to get the cart...
