Christmas decoration in the resorts??

Anyone know When they have the Christmas decorations (gingerbread house ect) in the resorts.....I have been Thanksgiving week and I can't remember if they were even up then???

We are going Nov 9th-23rd...any hopes of seeing everything Christmas by then????

You might see some decorations, but Thanksgiving is late this year (not until Nov. 28th). I know they will be up by Black Friday...used to be almost an overnight transition, but I think in more recent years there is so much decorating to do that some goes up a little bit prior to Thanksgiving. I wouldn't count on "everything" to be decorated that early in November though.

Decorations go up gradually during November and are completed by the day after Thanksgiving. For the resorts the gingerbread house at the GF takes a while so you'll see that being constructed and most like completed by the 24th. Individual resorts are decorated overnight, one at a time, but there's no published schedule. People have said they walk through a lobby one evening and the next morning it's been transformed with the tree, swags and the rest of the holiday decor.

I was there last year from Nov. 11-15 and it felt like Christmas. We were at the GF on the 15th and they were working on the gingerbread house, it was so much fun to see and they were handing out samples of gingerbread. While we were there the tree appeared over night in our resort (ASM). Lots of Christmas trees and decorations everywhere. Also enjoyed Osborne lights. I am returning the same time this year, can't wait! Great time of year to visit, really gets you in the Holiday spirit!
