Was looking at Touringplans and they give Dec. 23 a 10 on crowd level, and Dec. 25th an 8 (this is currently published on the public all access site!)(No membership required to access this info).

Was wondering what anyone with Christmas trip experience thought of this.....

Now, Before you give me the big warning about traveling during the busiest time of the year, you should know that I have gone on over 100 WDW trips; including a couple during Christmas week ( which I would prefer to avoid, but cannot). It has always been my experience that MK was the most crowded on Christmas day - in fact often closing to new arrivals late in the morning due to being at capacity.....

So - what do you think is the most crowded day at MK?

Thanks!

Jill

We go over Christmas quite a bit and we are heading down 12/20-12/30. I think the 23rd will be equally as crowded as the 25th and the 24th....With fast passes and some dining reservations, its still really fun as long as you know it will be a lot of people.

I've been to MK on Dec. 26. It was shoulder-to-shoulder, could-barely-get-out-of-Tomorrowland-back-to-Main-St. crowded. Even if Dec. 25 is more crowded, I don't even know how anyone could tell the difference. Dec. 26 was off-the-charts crowded. In terms of Dec. 24, 25 and 26, I would simply pick your poison. None of those days will feel less crowded than another, IMHO.

If we rope drop, are the crowds somewhat manageable until around 11 or so?

The applicable WDW rule-of-thumb is that "the earlier the hour, the fewer the guests."

That said, everything will be relative.
Christmas week has traditionally (for years and years) garnered the very highest attendance levels at WDW.
