We will be on vacation over next Christmas. Although it's early I am beginning to think about where we should plan to have Dinner on Christmas Day as we will have to make early reservations
I am thinking about keeping out of the parks on that day as I know they are exceptionally busy
There will be myself, DH and thre DD's aged 3 7 and 9
Thanks

Your right to think about reservations early. I booked mine right at the 90 day mark. What sort of meal are you looking for ?
One of the dolphin resturants (forgot which) has a special christmas menu, or there whispering canyon at Wilderness lodge which would fit in well with your kids.

We ate at the Cape May Cafe for dinner on Xmas Day and we had a wonderful meal they had laid on a turkey too.

We had breakfast at Spoodles where I started the morning with a Mimosa - LOL the day went downhill for me from there ;);)

We also did Cape May Cafe on Christmas Day. I wanted to be out of the parks, but close enough that we could go if we wanted to(which we did). When I called-California Grill and a couple of other places had special Christmas Dinners-but they were very expensive and many of them didn't even have a turkey option. The turkey wasn't that great at CMC-but the rest of the dinner and desserts were wonderful. Also, people who didn't make ps's were being turned away-just about every sit down rest. was booked solid. On major holidays you have to guarantee your ps with a credit card-you can cancel up to 48 hrs in advance. It all worked out very well for us.
I wish we were going again for Christmas, it was really special!

This past Christmas we at at the Castle for a late lunch and at Fultons for a late dinner following the 6:00 P.M. show at Cirque. We will not do Fultons again (it was a zoo) but eating at Cinderella's castle on Christmas afternoon was very, very nice. We had to make both reservations at exactly 90 days.

We ate at 1900 Park Fare this past Christmas and were very happy with our choice. It was our plan to avoid the parks and have our meal at a resort. The food was great with a large variety to choose from. And what could be cooler than having Christmas dinner with Cinderella?
