Christmas Day restraunt needed--no parks!

Where's a special restraunt for Christmas day? We're avoiding parks that day so we only want DTD or resort choices. We have a 2 year old, a 9 year old, and we're on the regular dining plan. Anyone know of a really cool place to eat for Christmas? Any special meals done anywhere?

I would choose Artist's Point for Christmas dinner. The theme of WL just screams "Christmas" to me, and when its decorated its amazing. AP's menu looks loveley, also. If you aren't keen on the kiddies at AP, then I would go WCC, just for the atmosphere in the lobby, that is easily seen from the restaurant.

You don't say where you are staying which might help in suggesting convenient choices. I agree with PP about Wilderness Lodge. It's spectacular at Christmas. Artist Point is a wonderful high-end restaurant. If you want something more casual, try Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL. You could combine dinner with a monorail tour of Christmas decorations. WL is just a short boat ride away from CR and the monorail loop. The GF lobby decos are spectacular -- you know, 2-story real gingerbread house.

I would suggest the Grand Floridian Cafe--on the monorail. Or I would suggest skipping that area entirely and going to Kouzzina by Cat Cora. I think shopping on the Boardwalk on Christmas day would be wonderful!

I see that in 2007 there were special menus at some restaurants. Did they do that last year as well? I don't see anything posted here or on AllEars. Would love to eat at Citricos Christmas Day but not if it is only a price fixed special menu. Anyone know?
