Christmas Day Fireworks at MK

I know MK closes due to capacity on Christmas Day, but does it usually reopen early evening in time for Fireworks? We are going to be park-hopping but want to catch the fireworks and would be getting there right before 9pm.

With the recent increase in crowd-levels at WDW, it is impossible to base what will likely happen this year based on past years.

If you are willing to take a chance, go for it. You may be just fine.

But, if being inside MK is really important to you, I'd be inside the park by 10AM and not exit until you are finished there for the day.

I would think that the population of the park wouldn't decrease until after the fireworks.
