Looking for suggestions on an ADR for Christmas day meal. Do any restaurants do a special meal? Are they booked as an ADR or do you have to call?

I've been waiting to speak to a CM about it for 2h45m now. Near my breaking point and just want to hang up...

They are usually just regular old ADRs. We will be there Xmas as well. We plan to be in AK that day, so we are hoping to book Sanaa that night. Our window opens up Sunday. Fingers crossed!

Yes several restaurants will have special Christmas meals. It will say whether it’s a normal meal or holiday meal. Usually Disney food blog will put out a list of available holiday meal restaurants.

You should be able to book it as a normal adR like the others.

Be careful out there during the major holidays (T-Day; Christmas Eve and Day; NYE). Disney has a habit of overbooking and rushing their diners through their meals. I get off the conveyor belt and found booking at Disney Spring solved the problem.

They finally took my call after being on hold for four hours. No Christmas meals have been announced yet. So I took ADRs at Yachtsman Steakhouse on 12/24 at 820pm and California Grill at 835pm on Christmas. Those are both about as late as you can get. Hoping we will be able to avoid what you're describing as a result.
