Christmas Cruising 2005

They thought that's a cute idea. and they also said you guys are crazy! hahaha
The only downside is that my parents don't like the Western itinerary. We went on the Western before and after the Eastern my parents said they wouldn't go back on the Western until they changed the ports. They think the Eastern is so much more funn filled and the ports are much more beautiful.
So i don't know if we will be joining out in 2008 on the Western.

Really?

I'm curious what they did not like about them...my Mom has been on both, of course her Western was a little different because they were dodging hurricanes.

They never saw Key West, they started on Castaway Cay and went right to Mexico. Mom would have to tell you what ports.

Keep us in the loop when you do plan your trips, we love hearing from you :)

Allow me to Clarify Christmas...

I actually mean around the beginning of December~

We've been there at that time of year 3 times now....it's close enough to Christmas to enjoy all the holiday festivities but far enough away to not have to deal with the crowds~

Tig, your idea sounds good. I have to figure it our on paper first.
Hmmm
DL/LA Summer 2007
WDW GF Christmas 2007
Christmas cruise 2008
I can do without the summer DL trip, and put that money aside for the cruise.
I agree with Tori's parents, that the eastern is a nicer cruise, but and the extra sea day is a big plus for me. But I do want to see different ports, instead of St M and St T again. I don't know what to do. Lemme do a little research.

HI Tori, it was SO good to hear from you! Keep in touch!

I hafta go to DL at the end of May...

it's actually a small trip for me cause it's only Britt and Me.

WDW in December would be everybody in my fam plus Cate (DS's GF)

and then I have a year to recoup for the cruise at the end of '08~

I'm even considering not doing OBX this summer just so I can afford all 3 disney trips.

How ya doin in your new room Aisling?

We're almost set in ours, just one more teammember to add and we have our 8~

Hi all
I havn't been checking the posts in a while. Sure have been busy.

I just watched from itunes podcast. "Bringing disneyland Home" by Oakfan. I get all my podcasts from itunes.
It was the travel channel - WDW Holiday Special 43min 04 seconds. It's all about xmas in WDW. hotel lobbys, where the decorations are stored, how they are put up. Really cool.

If you happen to go to his website www.oakfan.com. you can still click on itunes & the whole list of his podcasts are right there.

He also had many other great videos on DL

Say Hi to Sea spray

I like the Western
1. one less day at sea
2. more to do on shore
3. not soo many diamond stores.
4. towns are bigger

I would love to go to WDW in Dec & cruise in 2008.

What a difference music makes to go with Grims videos.

Jill

WELL, i GUESS YOU COULD SAY IT'S ABOUT TIME!!! But, here's the story. I tried to put my videos from the cruise on whatever. I couldn't figure out how to finalize them. I said to heck with it. Needless to say I forgot about them. Now, I've been working on picture projects for the American Legion. One day shopping for stuff at office max I came across a program that converts VHS, camera movies etc. to DVD thru the computer. It was only 99.99. Then, Grim sent his DVD's. :teeth:

Colleen (Tiggie) the program is the bomb. Last night I tried it out. I copied my first VHS to DVD. SUCCESS, Yaay. :cool1:

This morning I broke out the video camera, plopped in the camdiscs & tried it. WOW, I havn't seen these tapes since the cruise. I have pirates night, swimming with the Dolphins & yes, Chad singing. Oh, I want to go do this again.

Sooooo, what I am trying to say is. Send me your addresses. I will send you DVD's. I think you will like them. :thumbsup2

LYMI :grouphug: Jill :moped:

:artist: Pirates night starts out at dinner & everyones dressed up. Then the parade around the room with the servers.
Next, it goes to deck 9 where the party was and the dancing, the characters & fireworks.. Then the trip to where the dolphins were, at the beach, lunch. Chad singing karoke. watching the life boats being lowered.
I'd say its cute. I'd be happy to send you one. :thumbsup2

Looks like they're almost ready for us...

You Still Nervous!?!?

Tig, between you and me, I hate this challenge! If I could do it on my own, it would be less stressful. But with 7 other people, we're tripping all over each other. I wish your team luck, because my team's probably getting the boot at the end of this challenge! :rotfl2:

The first thing I thought when I saw your post was...

Oooh! She's come up for air!!!

We've been sooo busy but my team works together quite well, fortunately...

I hope you don't get booted this soon---I was looking forward to competing with you for awhile :(

:dance3: I received everyones request for a DVD. I will do them up on my days off :surfweb: (Tues & Wed) & have them in the mail Thurs afternoon. Colleen, I'll deliver yours personally. I saw Britt today walking to Otto's & gave her a ride. I told her about it. She said she enjoyed Grims movies.
Good luck on your games. :thumbsup2

What's all this talk about challenges and teams?
Tori, on the Community Board, they're having a contest with challenges and teams, like Survivor, American Idol, etc. It's called WPASADI, for ...Tiggie what does it mean again?? :rotfl:
Anyway, it started about a week ago, and there's a ton of threads about it on the CB. It's too late to join as a team member, but you can still join as an audience member.

How's the weather where you are? Today is the first really cold day we've had here in NYC, but I saw on the news that over by you it's been really cold!

Lookee! I just saw I got a tag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: Thank you, tag genie and/or tag fairy!!!!!!!!!

Ummm yeah...I just got done working on our submission for the night

Like Aisling said Tori, it's like a virtual Survivor~it's alotta work and creatively challenging, both right up my alley...but this time---it's for REAL PRIZES!!!

Aisling and I are trying to win trips to Disney (The Swan & Dolphin are sponsoring the game) and trips on DCL!

I see your tag my friend, I also see you're still up too ;)
