Christmas Cruising 2005

I kinda had the feeling their was a resemblance between Tigg & her sis. Cute shots of little G daughter too. It's nice you're able to travel with your childrens children. And play with them too! My parents are too old for the playing part, but we have tried to travel with them whenever possible.

Did I mention that we are going to London this summer? My cousin's daughter (first girl of that generation in the family) is getting married. Such a good excuse for an outrageous trip. Lee (my sis) and I are talking about renting a house as a home base close to my cousin's house (1 hour outside of London) then we can travel around form there. It will be nice to have such a large amount of family together in one place. I'm hoping my mom and dad will come, but might be too much travel for them now.

Tomorrow is the big Dland day. Today clena rabbitt's cage, and pack and last bit of work. I'll send my hello's to the Mick for everyone.

oh, and you will LOVE London. I've been twice, once as a senior in high school and once when I was 28. I took a trip to Italy and London with my grandparents so that my grandfather could see his cousin again and because he had sent money over to have his grandparents graves cleaned up and restored. His family is from northern Italy, and then I have a cousin in London, so we stopped there for a few days. I could spend months just walking around London, its shops, pubs, MUSEUMS!

you'll love it!

Good Morning....still haven't packed..... Do you think it will do itself?

ok, packed our costumes for the party, can't find my yellow slippers (I'm Minnie) I think they are in the garage with the cruise suitcase(s)

The kids packed their animals (AG dolls and build a bears) and tried to pack their suitcases, but I have to review those.

Hey Paul didn't pack yet either...hmmmm we're just lazy this trip huh.

The laudry did get started, but we have one more load to do too.

To London. Both Paul and I have been before and LOVE IT. He was fortunate to study there for undergrad and again for a longer time for law school. I went in '90 to visit a friend working there and we went again together for our honneymoon '96. The honeymoon wasn't much of a visit, I was really (morning) sick the whole time and got a flu/cold on top of that, we ended up calling my cousin staying with her until I could hold down water and then came home a week early. Lost my 16 pounds on that trip, see pregnancy diet I tell ya! Paul had planned on renting a car and driving us thru the hills and such. Sounded great, but too sick to think of it then.

Lynn, thanks for the bunny offer. I hope we can have a London mini meet, that would be fun. The hardest part of traveling, leaving the pets. I talked with my nephew last night, gave him a key to housesit this weekend, and had to tell him what our plan is if Casey (14 year old dog) gets sick. We have 2 friends that will take care of deciding on her care. I'm so worried that she may not make it while we are cruising.

Oh I hear the washer is done, better get it moved.

I'm the packer in my house...I let them lay out what they want and "inspect" them for missing, forgotten and necessary items.

My family has been dealing with me enough years that they've gotten pretty good at packing by now.

Your kids still think a suitcase full-o-toys is all they need

They were driving the last 30 miles in thru LA. It took them almost 2 hours!

As they were pulling in, and Nan had her AP in hand, we bid each other a good night

The kids are so cute, she pulled out some glow toys she got from Disneydirect and they were so happy I could hear it

Hi Gang,

I have a lot of reading and catching up to do. I've been having some serious car trouble, and I have to decide if I'm going to pay for repairs or get a new car. I just drove back from Casey's place with my flashing lights on because I couldn't accelarate past 20 mph. And the jerks behind me were honking like crazy. Just go around me! But I made it home. This is really bad timing with the cruise coming up, but oh well!

So Nan's in DL again! Tig it was so cute when you said you could hear her kids on the phone in the background being excited. Both of my kids have just left for Halloween parties, and now I have a chance to relax and Dis.
I can't wait for Jesse to come home with lots of chocolate for mama!

So what's everyone doing this weekend? Anything fun and exciting??

Hey everyone! how's it going!? Whats everyone doing for Halloween? And whats up for this weekend!? Nothing much here I just got back from softball practice and now I am getting ready for a party. We had a dance after shcool yesterday and then right after that our highschool football team was playing in the Sectional's they are undefeated still this year so far!so walking around and dancing made my feet and legs kill! We are hoping they will make it to state this year because we are doing so well. My parents are gonna take us down there if we make it! So I am excited. I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!!!

Tig, we get TONS of trick-or-treaters, I can hardly afford to treat them all! I'm really stingy with the candy, but at least everyone gets some!

John's surfing between Monster's Inc, The Shining and Day of the Dead (the old B&W movie)

I kinda cheated when the kids were younger, we lived in a great neighborhood for Trick or Treating. I'd take the kids around while John carved pumpkins and handed out candy at home.

When we came back to empty our full bags John would recycle some of our new candy when the bags we bought ran out

We'd still get so much the kids were always throwing it away at the beginning of lent every year.
