funny, Molly finally has agreed that she wants Josephina too. I was pushing her towards her last year since Molly speaks Spanish, but she kept telling me no....Molly has way too many AG dolls (again, I wish I could have had them when I was little, of course I'm not that young) so I got them for her...she has..Bitty Baby(her favorite) "Molly doll" (An American Girl of Today with red hair and blue eyes like my Molly) Hailey & Logan (the hopscotch girls) & Nellie and not to forget Angelina Ballerina and her whole entire house of furniture and clothes. I also have Molly McIntire (in the box in the garage) my Molly has told me she doesn't want her....When we went to Chicago July ' 01 I bought at the AG store and lots of her stuff on the off chance that My Molly would want her someday. No luck so far. I figure at 10 she gets the doll and if she likes her great if not, back in the box for my grandchildren. Do you think people who obsess on Disney also obsess on other things like AG? Duh :confused3 .... I do.

Well we are taking the kids to the pool for a dip, I'll check in later....

Nan

My Brittany has everything that Josephina came with at that time...

she also has other dolls her other gMom gave to her. They all use the AG furniture, I have all her dolls that would fit on the cabinet displayed on Josephina's furniture dowstairs.

Thankfully she never asked for any more than that.

Britt also has an extensive beanie baby collection, barbie doll collection and Eeyroe collection in her room.

Obsessive? Nahhhhhhhh ;)

You know that the original stuff from AG is worth tons on ebay....trust me I'm the freako mom that buys it....I try to find the dresses for Molly that they used to sell that are like the dolls original outfits. I'm searching (in vain) for the Molly birthday dress in a size 10 for Molly's 10th bday. She will love that doll darn it....Don't get me wrong, she will get a real present that she wants for the 10th too, but I really love that Molly McIntire doll. I think since I have such a weird name I'm so excited to see my daughter's name in use all the time.

okay, going to the pool now...

Hi Gang,

I love hearing about the dolls and your girls, since I don't have daughters. And I don't see my little neices too often; they live in the Catskills, Texas, and Rome, so it's nice to hear talk about girl clothes and dolls and parties, and all the sugar and spice and everything nice. I have 9 Barbies: Rapunzel Barbie, Queen of Ireland Barbie, Sugar Plum Fairy Barbie, Disney World Barbie, Star Trek Barbie and Ken, Sailor Moon Barbie, Snow Queen Barbie, and Glinda (Wizard of Oz) Barbie. I'm very particular about the ones I want, and now that I've been getting the Barbie magazine, I'm so into the 50's style Barbie, with the heavy eyeliner and flip-do.

Nan, I've PMed you about the wax thing. ;)

Hey Asiling: Do you boys support your doll habit? I think my husband and sometimes my son thinks I'm crazy. Sounds like you have a nice collection of Barbies. I love her too. I never had Barbie when I was little. I had her flat chested sister, Skipper. Molly has a lot of Barbies but I think they have lost their flare. Although, she was impressed with the 50th Barbie at Dland. She is really cute, 2 outfits one from back then 1955 and one for today. Ears and all. If I find the site online I'll post it so you can see her.

Swimming was nice. I read Paul and the kids dipped. Topanga drove us to Dairy Belle afterwards (she is not a good influence on my diet idea) I did walk at school today, so some exercise is better than nothing.

Time for jammies for me so....nite nite,

Nan

My family are tru collectors...

Even tho I know I could sell that stuff on Ebay, I won't. I have collectible items that I can sell but it's from collections other than what my family intend to keep.

We have alotta China-I am only getting rid of lower end excess from that collection.

The Dolls and beanie babies and barbies are packed away for Britt. She know if/when she ever gets a place of her own that they all go with her.

When is Molly's 10th birthday?

I have her in my list as being 8 yo :confused3

You have alot of the same Barbies Brittany has :teeth:

Do you display yours?

Britt has Rapunzel, Germany, WDW, birthday, christmas, olympic, 50's (doll and ornament), she even has all five spice girls!

It is a different world when you're the only lady in the house huh?

If I count the DSs girlfriend my house is three and three.

five against three if I add in my girl dog and cat

The 50th Barbie sounds cool!

by all means, Please, post her if you find her...I'd like to see.

Blaming Topenga already huh?

We have Dairy Queen to blame for our Ice cream trips...

Horrible about London...MIL thinks they will remove themselves from the fight on terrror, but the rest of us feel it will just piss them off and make them stand their ground (a bone has been thrown to Blair)
Here w/ the cousins that will be on the cruise...
Nan--our 1 girl is in the 8-9 group by herself, might want to go to 5-7 group to be w/ her sis and Hailey; all boys in 10-12 group; but maybe if Molly is there...
Bikini waxing...I need to get in on this one! Tried Nair wax myself this summer...
OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! :earseek:
Well, guess we are headed to the waterpark. Jack had 7 hours of sleep, so we need to go early so we get back early so he can take a HUGE nap at a decent hour! (Otherwise if he takes a late one, he will be up late again...)
Watched Finding Neverland here in MILs theatre room---OMG, I don't think I have EVER cried so much! Wonderful movie. Saw preview for Dear Frankie, want to see now...probably watch National Treasure later...don't think it would be the same at home on the 34"!
Bye all!
Kris
PS My inlaws think I am a DCL nut, since I know so much...guess you guys have done it! Got our ressie # and logged in! rooom 8590, I think. I'll double check late.

 Hi Kris!

Absolutely horrible about London! But my thinking leads towards them standing ground not backing down because of this.

Theatre room eh? Sounds cool!

Have a great time at the water park!

I'll note your cabin # on my list...confirm for me if it's not accurate please.
I gotta add your photos to my cruise list too...

Hi all
Someone at some point in time asked to see pictures from skating. We just had Regionals & these pictures were posted on our website. I am the one in the burgundy outfit. I have tried to edit it here we go.

Hope this posts ok.

Jill :badpc:

Jill, OMG you look so beautiful! Thank you for posting the photos! Wow, to see you in action, you really look athletic, in control of your body. Wonderful!

:rotfl: Wigs & stockings camoflage bulges & short hair. Actually, I was surprised to see my picture on the site. The lady that made my outfit told me about it. She found it amusing because my coach didn't like the accessories she put on it. What do coaches know. :wizard:

Jill :moped:

Hi all...checking in with our news of the day....Wilson did a jump/twist into the pool and hit his chin....7 stitches worth . Our dear friend who had his tonsils out yesterday has checked into the hospital for dehydration  and his big sis is over here for the night, but very homesick...

I'll keep it short and say good night I have to go read to the girls and try to get them to sleep...not a very fun first sleep over that's for sure.

Talk to you tomorrow,

Nan

the morning is always brighter :sunny:

The sun is out, Neal (the friend in the hospital) is coming home, Wilson is feeling fine (& has a big bandage to show off) Nora (the big sis) made it thru the night and is on the way to sprung her brother, Molly is off to school.

Wilson and I are watching Sesame Street...sometimes it is nice to vegg with him in front of the tv.

Of course having said that I now need to move it move it (to the tune of Madacascar, see it, it was really good) and get my work done for the day.

No swimming until stiches are out next Tuesday. I guess it could be worse....

Off to the salt mines for the rest of the day,

Nan

p.s. I guess you can tell from my sign off that in the middle of this post I got a call from my father....oh long story, Asiling, I'm right there with you and yours....

Hi Nan: Glad to hear the new day brings brighter moods :sunny:

Hope everyone fares better this weekend.

Hi Mom: Actually, it seems the the seamstress knows better ;)

Glad you're doing well, Good Luck at Nationals!

You all will you pick me up if I fall over, right ?

Tigg: Took me a bit to understand what you were talking about....what if we're all falling over???? :thewave: kinda like this but we all fall down after we wave... :rotfl2:

Jill, great photo(s), I agree the seamstress clearly knew what would work and it did :goodvibes

Kris: (& Tigg) yes Molly who will be (in 2 weeks) 8 might want to do the older group or the younger group...it will totally depend on her mood. She tends to be on the younger mind set about playing with dolls and stuff (some of her other friends have allready set them asside) but she also would like the group activities of the older set. I'm just not sure. I do like the idea of Molly & Wilson being in the same "room" on the ship so that they can watchout for each other, but I know that they each will get into their groove and find friends and forget each other....so I best not worry 'eh?

Okay cruiser experts, we do need to sign them up for club right? Do we sign them up for specific times or what? How on earth do you decide what times? Is it decided daily or upfront?

This weekend is looking realllllllyyyy low kep for us, so if anyone wants to chat for a while just tell me when and I might be up for it.

Last note, I agreed with the newspaper I saw on the tv this morning...."*******S!!!!". What a chicken way to make your point, by hurting innocent people. My prayers are being sent to the families of those who have lost and also for Blair. It's not easy being the top dog in a time like this.

Ciao,

Nan

 Hi Nan!

I'm double checking my book on the clubs but i believe you register the kids for the clubs -- and then sign them in and out as you go.

If we all fall over I think we'll just sit where we land :rotfl2:

This is from my passporter

Parents, drop by the club/lab (club is for 3 to 7 and lab is for 8 to 12) the first afternoon to take a look around and register your kid(s)-you'll need to fill out a participation form indicating names, birthdays, ages and special considerations (such as allergies and fears), and give your authorization for first aid if necessary. Parents of kids 3 to 7 must sign them in and out, and may do so as often as needd. Parents can indicate if 8-9 yo'scan sign themselves in and out, kids 10-12 can sign themselves in and out regardless. Each family is given one pager for the duration of the cruise. Each child gets a wristband and nametag-they should keep the wristband on and bring the nametag with them. Parents are welcome to drop in and observe.
