Yes, those ears, please...

How was the supply of gold eared antenna toppers? I would have to unpack to at least get the souvies out!!!

now back to read the other 16 paragraphs

DH wants to go to a BBQ so may have to check ya later :moped:

blah blah blah....I think I have the runs in the mouth....

ok, I unpacked the souvies over the course of the last few days, my scrap crap is what is really holding me up, I have no where to put it.

I finally found my golden antennae and was ready to put it on Topanga and Paul tells me she has non antennae. arrrrggggggg pirate: what do I do now???

I think they might run out of those, so I'll snop around for that darn deliverears phone # and we can figure out what is the cheapest way to get them for ya.

get reading,

Nan

You ever see those stand up, cardboard, magazine racks

I organize my scrap crap in those. One day I may even do those scrap books I speak of. They hold everything, maps magazines, outdated guidebooks, ticket stubs and parking stubs and take very little room on my bookshelf.

Nan: I read about your cars...

Niiiiice ::yes::

How was the drive in?

I haven't been to a drive in since high school :earseek: They don't exist in our area any more.

Oh Yeah!!

Did you know....that antenna toppers fit on the top of a standard #2 pencil?!?!?

Brittany wanted a Nemo and doesn't have a car, so he's on a pencil in her room.

1961 BMW 700 (very funky little car, 2 stroke aircooled rear engine yes like a motorcycle engine)
Now that's what I call a car!
Great news about Topanga. It's a snazzy car, very cool. And just the size I love. I have a '99 Dodge Caravan, and it's on it's way out. Chad has a Neon, and Mel has a new Accura which he won't let anyone but himself drive! You new car has inspired me to look into a new family member, too. So your Topanga might have a New York cousin someday, named Broadway! Seriously, best wishes to you; getting a new car is so exciting.

GOOD NEWS! DH FINALLY won poker!
Dan, Dan, he's our man, if he can't do it, no one can! :cheer2: WTG!

I have a few of those magazine rack things, but they only hold 8.5x11, what on earth can I do with all the 12x12....Kris, goddess of scrapbook, :worship: we seak your advice....tell the solution to the problem please :genie: I promise I'd grant you release with this third wish....(ya right) how do you store your 12x12's?

The drive in was great :goodvibes We get there and Wilson is looking around :confused3 "Mom, where do we go in for the movie?" I tell him there is the screen and this is your chair, he so didn't get it. Then his friend comes and he is an expert, "see the screen then the movie comes out of it" so cute to be 5. :love1: I love that boy.

Herbie was awesome. We had lots of people come over to see how we fit our kids in our Boxster, (ha 1990's porsche eat your heart out) our little car does have a back seat that can fit carseats in them. The kids of course believe that we became Herbie on the drive home and raced the whole way.

I was sitting with DH in the camping 2 person chair, thinking "THIS IS LIFE" I'm so glad that we enjoy it and have fun together and with our kids. We even had Molly take our traditional kiss picture tonight (haven't done that one since we got married ~ 9 years ago. We used to have my roommate as our 3rd wheel all the time and she would take our picture everywhere while we kissed. At first just for fun, then we made a point of it. Had a shelf of the kissing pictures up for a while.

Okay, as you all know I could talk all night, but since tomorrow is a holiday I'll give you a break.

HAPPY 4th of July.....I'll check in tomorrow,

Nan

p.s. Aisling, don't be suprised if that new girl Broadway (of your dreams) becomes real and she and Topanga plan a road trip to meet in the middle....I tell you that Nav system makes driving seem like a game and a half. :moped:

 Hiya Nan!

Don'cha just love the time difference...it's only 12 there huh?

We just got home and I'm wound up, so I'm surfing a little before I hit the hay.

My local office max sells cardboard office supply containers

I bought the snap together kind, very reasonable price and very sturdy containers.

I didn't realize what you had to store was so big.

:faint: how can you still be awake at that hour??? Notice that it is not this hour since I still have 3 hours to be that crazy :rotfl2:

does your post give the time in your local zone? All of the post read my time, very strange...how can that be? Does this site live in CA?

oh my lordy I just saw that I'm a

Mouseketeer :earsgirl:

I'd love to stay and see if you are chatting, but my eyes are dropping closed so I better say nite nite. :wave2:

You guys have been busy!
Nice time here--but I was done w/ fireworks after 2 hours...they just kept going....
Nan--You & I are so similar! I LOVE your car choices (but we only have 2--a Mazda Millenia is our "sporty" choice--but still all 3 kids fit, cozy--and Olds Silouhette van) You would love poker! We just got into it in March, a TX Hold 'Em bar poker craze fueled by TV. It's fun & free! We will be bringing a poker set on the cruise, so I can teach ya!
I am jealous--I miss Drive Ins! And you KNOW I am all about the making of the memories,too...and document them if I have time in between creating them! :flower: Money, shmoney...you can't take it with ya!
12x12--nope, don't think they make magazine-style holders in that size. Only paper stackers.
Well, DH is pestering me...we are still at his aunt & uncles...things to do at home...but, hey, I'm on vaca!
Jill--good to hear from y!
Aisling--you've been a bit quiet, too--your cheer made me giggle! :cheer2: --and made Dan roll his eyes! :sad2:
Tig--you & me, girl, we are consistent! :teeth:
Grim, Franco--Where are you!!??
Have a WONDERFUL holiday!
Kris

I was only up cause BIL kept saying,

Go home? you can't go home...you're not working tomorrow...Him and DH were playing darts. Darts score like tennis. It takes three hours to play three sets. :rolleyes1

You see I didn't even last ten minutes after my post :)

Did you see a 12am post or did you see 3am? I think our computers delegate what we see.

The Drive in sounded like a great night.

We do 4 wheel and front wheel drive vehicles. No mazdas here. My son does have the Lebaron convertible, but he didn't have to shop for that, TBJ (my MOM) gave it to him.

I drive an explorer, it's more our beach/vacation/snow vehicle. Hubby has a work-hand-me-down-dodge-pick-up truck. He works in Philly and the driving conditions are maniacle. I had a caravan, it was great during the soccer/softball/baseball years. I took out the middle seat and never put it back in. The dog could stand up in it, the kids could stretch out without kicking me in my back. Eventually it had to go...we've rented a few times and had tried the outback (too expensive) and the explorer (two week test drive at the beach and we were hooked on the explorer.)

My FIL and MOM drive identical cars, Trailblazers, except Mom's is a little newer. If you're noticing a pattern with 4x4's around here-all's I can say is we live in the great northeast and some winters you REALLY need that SUV.

:cheer2: Yay! :cheer2:

Did you know...

that you can change what that says from your UserCP?

within the UserCP is access to your profile, within the profile is your custom title, the second box down on that page.

Under where it should say "Mousketeer" is an empty box, type in whatever you want your profile to say and submit it and voila! You can be whatever you wanna be.

I wrote my profile and the Tag fairy colored it for me. We can only write profiles in black.

Happy Fourth Of July
Jill
:cheer2: You too Mama! :cheer2:

Will I see you at Tim's later?

Me thinks tis time for final arrangements before you take my children to the World with you ;)

I have to post this to go check your countdown timer ... how many more days?

Only 18 more days Mama and you're on your way to nationals.

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Bring on the poker set...

I have played in the past. John and I play cards sometimes to pass the time. We play blackjack and poker and rummy. Besides that we like board games like scrabble, backgammon, checkers and chess.

Poker is a big craze right now. My nephew and his friends were playing it last night. My sis bought the boys the whole kit-chips and cards and directions included.

What do you normally store scrap stuff in? I'm really clueless when it comes to scrapping...now photography and computers?! I'm right there for ya.

:rose:

Aisling: the rose above is my smilie name on the threadkillers thread.
Everybody has a symbol that represents them when Brer_Papa tells stories.
I like being :rose:

One more thing before I head off surfing...

Yes!~only One! :rotfl2:

I found a phone number for Deliverears...the web page wouldn't link so I was gonna try to call the phone number I have tomorrow. I'm sure no-one's there today

800-362-4533 is the number I have, let me know if you dig up a different number please. I'll try whatever we can get...those gold ears were my only souvie mission I set for myself this year. I'd like to see the embroidery you spoke of as well please...

~TTFN~

hmmmmm, I really do tend to be about the same time as you...just 3 hours later.... :rotfl2: I'm so funny... I snooped around and saw that you can have the thread read in whatever time stamp/zone you desire, it defaults to your local time zone, I'd never figure out how it figures out what that is...I guess we told them at registration where we came from huh?

Morning Jill, nice to see you today :)

okay, poker on the cruise, I'm in. We found cute decks of cards at Dland, but split them between me and sis to scrap them, ahhhh haaaaa we are really nuts about it huh? I have some 12x12 plastic totes to store paper in but they get so big. I want to find something that is more compact. I think I have 5 + totes and still more paper.

I'm glad to see that everyone is equally crazy about their cars as we are. I knew we got along for a reason.

DH & the kids are at the grocery store for bbque at our house tonight.

Sis just called, she's gonna come for bbque too  that will be fun, the kids love to have Auntie Lee around.

Do any of you guys get to do your own fireworks??? We aren't supposed to do it here due to high fire issues, but we have sneaked them sparklers always, the kids have to have some fun right? :confused3

Kris, 2 hours sounds like heaven...we get about 15 minutes, or at least that is what it feels like. Can ya tell I like 'em?

Ok, now it's time to get some coffee (yes, be worried I talk like this with out coffee) :rotfl:

:wave2:

Nan

p.s. thanks for the tech info Tiggie, what shall I call myself blabbermouth?? :rotfl2:
