Okay...Payroll is done...time for some DISing
Kristin: Try defragging the computer, it takes a long time to run so make sure it can be left idle for an hour or two while the defrag runs. It should be under "accessories/system tools." Mine is due for a good defragging too.
Also the whirring sound could mean your fan is blown.

ssst: pun intended.) The computer will run hot if the fan isn't working right. Does your school have someone to maintain your terminals or is that all on you to handle?
and that teacher that went around you right to the principle is a weenie

She sounds like someone who likes to complain and lay blame on others...only a week or so left...don't sweat it my friend.
I'm not in vacation mode, but I could really use a beer about now...
~I had a gruelingly long day and am so ready to relax~
Aisling: Mom spends that much cause she lives and competes in them, I'm sure you could find skates at your local Target or on Ebay if you're willing to take those hand-me-downs. I'd offer you mine, but they're so old the leather inside the boot sticks to my socks when I wear them...kinda gross.
Inlines require strong ankles, roller skates (IMO) are easier to use. Mom had me in roller skates by the time I was two. I never got into the competition part of it but I have enjoyed roller skating for many many years.
I don't take a glove to the game-if the ball comes my way I duck and let others catch it. It's happened...I was sitting on the first bas line for one game, the ball came right at my head so I ducked and the girl next to me caught the ball. Besides, where we sit, right behind home plate, there is netting to stop the ball from coming straight back at us.
I like skating, walking and even sitting outside with my eyes closed-nature is a wonderful thing. My favorite time to do that is when we go to the beach, and we sit out on the deck at night, listening to the waves break---
My norweigan friend, add a little lime in the corona ya nut!!! Corona is our beach beer, something about the lightness of a corona with a touch of lime that tastes so wonderful by the sea...
I print trip reports to take home with me at night...my family giggles at me when I sit down with my "pile" of printouts cause they know I'm reading about Disney...again...
I was thinking about the seasickness issue and plan on taking ginger ale, ginger snap cookies and non drowsy dramamine with me. They say ginger is a natural seasickness remedy...I'm counting on that being true if the motion of the sea bothers me at all. They also say it works better if you get ahead of the sickness instead of waiting for it to hit you and then treat it.
Well, it's 6:30, I think it's time to go home...
