I have been watching (my)ooops, our thread, just taking in all of your ideas. Your right , I would probaly like the show but I think we will pass. But getting a crew for the fireworks is a great idea. Keep up the great thoughts!! :earsgirl: :smooth: :bounce:

When do I become more than a "Welcomed Guest"? How many more post until I can move on to another title? :earsgirl: :smooth: :bounce:

100 posts changes you to a veteran...
after that you can edit your profile to say whatever you like.

*My Mom gave me her password and I changed her profile for her.
I edit her signature for her as well.*

Stop lurking and start posting Mister! (lol);)

Franco::hyper2:
Just think only 40 more posts & you can say what you want. I felt the same way. Colleen has come up with some good ideas for my signature
Sounds like a motivator to me to talk to us more often.

The last time we were there I asked for a room in the new section and also with a golf course view. It was awesome, the balcony was ultra quiet the view of the golf course made me feel like a big shot! All this for $70.00 a day! God I miss it! can't wait to get back!! :earsgirl: :smooth: :bounce:

We always bring lots of those disposable one, but get real lazy taking them. But, we just got our first digital and the oldest (Leonardo) is now the family picture taker. From now on, when we do our trips we will have pictures, As long as I don't break the camera!!! :earsgirl: :smooth: :bounce:

I'm sorry, I don't know how to make this picture smaller!!
But I wanted to show everyone what I think I'll be wearing to Pirates On The Caribbean Night, with black leggings, black kitten-heel shoes, and gold hoop earrings! And a little (fake) parrot on my shoulder! Aarrg!

Hello everyone out there with teenages going on the Christmas 05 cruise. This is Franco56, but sometimes I will be sharing my name with my two stepsons. They will be asking questions for thier age groups and other things I suppose. They are great guys, so you will be hearing from Leonardo (15) and Daniel (12) at time of sailing. Thank you kindly  :earsgirl: :smooth: :bounce:

I am desperately needing this trip to WDW-
3 more weeks and we are sooooo outta here!

Hi Wick! Wow, you've been a member longer than your Mom!
I've seen you on the boards but did not realize the connection...
It will be nice when we all finally get to meet everyone won't it?
We'll have been talking for 1 1/2 years by then!:hyper2: :scared1: lol.

There's a huge meet being held in PA next July-the link is here if anyone is interested...

~But looking at all the locals if some of you: VA, NYC, MA, UK!
it might not be feasible for most of you unless you're willing to do a long weekend with a hotel stay~at an amusement park...
it's worth a look~

Aisling
Aladdin's clone said you were considering walkie talkies for the cruise. I am too...do you think it would be too cumbersome for the kids to carry?
I've read that some leave a notepad on the desk and have everyone sign in & out as they come thru the room. What do you think?

Colleen,

How sooo exciting, 3 more weeks and WDW for you guys!!! Can I go, huh, huh!?! Well, I thrive on reading trip reports, And I can't wait to read yours (hint hint, PLEASE write one!)
And :rotfl: about your Ebay comment! You know me well already!

About the walkie talkies, I really want to be able to keep in touch with Jesse (Aladdin's Clone), so I'm checking into it. Even Chad (Wick) thinks it's a good idea to be able to stay connected. But I need more info. I'm going to ask more questions about this on the regular cruise board, to see how kids manage holding them, maybe small ones on a lanyard around their neck or hooked onto a belt loop on their shorts?? I just don't know. I have no experience with walkie talkies, and so I have to check out if they come in a really small portable size that works well.
The note idea is good, but I'd feel a lot better knowing I can contact Jesse at any moment. I'll do some research and report what I find out. I'll probably go to Radio Shack or someplace like that to ask for advice. And check Ebay ! LOL!

Aisling

Since Jessie is old enough to join the computer lab they will give you a beeper to carry around. When he gets there they will beep you & when he leaves they will let you know. He won't have to worry about carrying one. I didn't see too many people with walkie-talkies. Since they swim a lot they might get lost.

We used the note method. It worked really well. Usually we checked the navigator & made plans. But, if you want to keep in constant touch nothing is better than walkie-talkies.

By the way - happy birthday Chad & Aisling you can shop for me anytime. I love your taste in clothes.

Jill

:sunny:

Of course you can go! ;) Are you driving with us or flying down?

We own the motorola talkabouts. They have main & sub channels. I recommend the model with subchannels.
~We used my sister's (no subchannels) in 2002 and we got literally everybody in WDW on them.~
Ours are fairly old and therefore kinda heavy...maybe they make them a little lighter now.?.

*I've tried writing a trip report and got writer's block before I finished it. I had no notes last trip & tried to write from memory. This time I plan on taking notes during the day & detail it for myself each night. It'll be "almost live"*

Speaking of Clothes...

I know what I'm wearing boarding day! You WILL spot me! LOL. I'm wearing my Tigger Titans Hockey Jersey~and the Tigger Christmas Hat I intend to buy at WDW in 3 weeks. Aisling, you'll have to come in December, just to help me pick out my hat!
;)

:wave2:Hi Mom!:wave2:

Just Back From 10/30 The Good/The Not So Good (The Stack!) ( 1 2 3 )

This thread on the cruise board has me worried about the goings-on in the Stack. My Jesse will be 13, and I don't know what to do.
