Has anyone ever made their own? I have been thinking about making some for Christmas this year and just thought I would ask what anyone has put in theirs?

I could not find the Christmas snaps so I had to order those off of the internet, has anyone ever found them at Michaels?

Hi there. I did make my own last year and (not to discourage you) it was a lot of work! I found the snappers at Michael's. I filled them with trinkets (costume jewellery, candy, etc.) I found at dollar stores. I also wanted to make them personalized, so I printed out each person's horoscope for the upcoming year. I even made my own crowns out of tissue paper. The hardest part was a) finding trinkets small enough to fit inside the paper tubes, and b) rolling up the things!

Now that I'm thinking about it, perhaps I made it more difficult than it had to be? My family really enjoyed them, but this year - I'm buying them! Then again, I did wait until December, and since you are thinking about this now - maybe you will have more time to enjoy it!

Well I use to work for British Airways and we would get them in from the UK and had a ball with them...fast forward to today, I really wanted to get some for my family to enjoy, but at Pier One they were 29.99 for 6 yea...not going to pay that, so I'm going to try and making my own. I wonder if a lottery tick would fit inside for the guys .

If you have a Tuesday Morning store near you, they usually sell them. I don't remember the price, but I'm thinking it's like $15 or $20 for a package of 6.
