Christmas booked, but I think she may have booked the wrong hotel ;)

Hurray,

Everything has fallen into place now, so I've just got off the phone from booking our Christmas break from 4th Jan - 8th Jan.

The "problem" is that when I booked it, the phone line was really bad (very crackly at times). When she asked me what hotel I wanted, I told her Davy Crockett ranch, but the line kept cutting out and I'm not sure she heard my properly. When she replied back to check the hotel, the line cut out again, but I thought I heard the word "Disneyland"... I assume she said "Davy Crockett at Disneyland Paris", but I'm not so sure. I'm quite tired so could have fallen asleep and said Disneyland in my sleep on the phone to her )

I really hope she did hear me right and didn't book us into the Disneyland Hotel by mistake ?! If she did, then there's not a lot I can do about it, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see what we get when I pay the balance in a few months time .

You can always ring back and say your ringing to confirm your booking. Also im sure your find out when you recieve confirmation.

That makes me feel better As it happens, the line was genuinely quite poor, but she just got me to repeat stuff she couldn't hear.

My downfall was accessing the Disneyland Paris website from my Windows PC in work.

I went to the site to check price and dates of the DCR, then thought "hmm, how much is the DLH". Next thing I know, I'm adding up my finances to see if I can afford to pay the difference between the DCR and the DLH, then before I know it I'm phoning DLP and booking!

It works out a "bargain" for us though (compared to normal DLH costs). It works out at about £340 per person, because we have 2 adults at about £450 each, 1 extra adult at about £100 and 1 child at £0.00. How could I say no to that?

I was finally brave enough to tell DH I might call DLRP to check how much it'd cost to upgrade to DLH... And he said

Great!!! We love the Eurostar! I'm so happy we live so close to St. Pancras, only one stop on the tube. It's so convenient and just perfect!

In a way I'm quite glad I don't live too near the Eurostar... I'd never be away from DLRP!!
