What so special about Christmas here anymore than the other DVC resorts?

Is it just the location, being close to MK or something else?

It seems like I see "Christmas at WLV" more so than the other resorts.

It's very warm; it's very cozy. Imagine a National Park lodge decorated for Christmas with a massive tree in the lobby, lights everywhere and you kinda get the picture. Actually, my words do not do the effect justice.

If, for counter example, a structure which looks antiseptic contains a Christmas tree, then it looks like an antiseptic structure with a lighted tree.

Wilderness Lodge and Christmas go together like hot chocolate and marsh mellows.

But in the villas, you also get a large tree in the atrium and greenery draped over the railings on the floors above that open to the atrium. If you turn your AC down real low, it almost feels like Wyoming in December.

I agree with Deb & Bill, and think the villa tree is very special. The atruim isn't crowded, you can sit by a fireplace, or in a cozy nook and cranny and read and just "be."
