Dose IOA/US have anything extra prior to Christmas like Disneys Christmas party from 7-12?

No separate ticket events, but they have the Grinch in Whoville and Macy's parade.

Does any one know when the Macy's parade starts this year? We're thinking about going either the 1st week or 2nd week in December but I want to make sure we see the parade. Thanks for the help.

It will definitely take place during that time. It usually starts right after Thanksgiving.

Most holiday events start right after Thanksgiving (the day after in fact). But Macy's parade started in mid-December I believe...

I called up USF and asked them when they are going to have it this year. They had no set date yet. The parade last year started around 16 December. The reason they gave last year was that the ballons they use are from the parade and it takes time to ship down to Orlando from New York. I am going to go this year and I am looking forward to it, plus the Orborne Lights will be back at Disney this year as well, WOW.
