Christmas at the Grand Floridian

When is the typical start for decorations at the Grand Floridian? When does the tree go up? When is the gingerbread house completed?

Not sure of actual dates BUT Christmas theme events starts mid November I believe. We were there mid December and all decorations, including gingerbread house, were up at all three premium resorts

We were there over Halloween a couple of years ago, and the day of Halloween, boxes started appearing in the resort stores... and then poof...overnight, Halloween was done, and Christmas merchandise was starting to be put out. Overnight... Decorations in the resorts and parks will happen a little more slowly, over a couple of weeks, but by mid-Nov, I bet they will be pretty much done....

last year we went Jersey Week and the building of the gingerbread house was nearing completion.

We were there November 13th last year and visited the Gingerbread House. Trees and decor was up.
