Dec. 24th; Christmas Eve and we are in WDW!!!! I was really excited to be going to the MK today. There was a threat of rain, but who cares. We were in Disney.

As we entered the MK, DS said he wanted to go on the Indy racecars. We had yet to be on them this trip, so we went. The line was not very long at all..We also hit Buzz and then DD decided she wanted to go on Space Mountain. No wait here at all. We had the second car of the two, and had the last 2 seats. Normally I would be thrilled to go on a ride llike this with my DD but she is very small for her age. I had thoughts, well...lets just say I was quite nervous. I sat behind her in the last seat just so I could see her at all times. She did great and she screamed the entire ride. Her first words after getting off the ride.."let's go again!". We didn't but I know this will be one of her must-do's every trip from now on. We had heard so much about the Stitch ride, so we wanted to do this as well. Dh is not a ride person, so he wasn't going. DS is afraid of a lot of things, so he wasn't going. Just was me and DD. We waited on line, and after 40 minutes, had to get off line because we had lunch PS at CP. I told this to the CM who was there and she gave us 2 FP to use. I thanked her and we headed off to the CP. I looked at the FP and I was surprised to see that there was no date or time on them. Hmm...could I use these anytime? Maybe tomorrow? We would find out I was sure.

Our PS at the CP was for 11:40am. This was not a restaurant I would have picked for lunch but we were travelling (and I use that term very loosely) with my sister and her family, and they all love Pooh, so I figured whatever. First let me say the check in line was long!! All the way down the porch and down the stairs winding to the front. I have never seen it like this. So we check in and they call our name. The buzzer/beeper thing they give for you to hold is not working. My sister and her family are not there. I know she would not miss this so I call them. They are making their way over the bridge-they thought the PS was for 12 noon. I told her if they don't hurry, we are sitting and they are going to lose their spots. I didn't care. She had done some stuff during the week that drove me crazy so I really was perturbed that they weren't there. Yes, maybe I should not have checked in before they got there, but with that long line, I figured I was on the safe side. I now know better. So we get seated and lunch was better than I had remembered it to be from the last time I was there. The characters had a mini parade around the restaurant, which was cute and then the individual character interaction. I guess while I was up at the buffet, my BIL had a run in with the waitress. My DH said he was quite embarrassed. Apparently, my neice had pushed her plate away, which at a buffet signals, at least to me, that I am done with it. Well, I guess there was a brownie on it and when the waitress took the dish, all hell broke loose with my neice crying and my BIL yelling at the waitress. All can say is good thing I wasn't there to see this. Let's face it folks, you are at Disney on vacation, it's Christmas Eve and these folks are taking care of you. Give them a break and be nice. I am sure they would rather be home with their families than waiting on you and yours. There were hundreds of other brownies on the buffet-just go get one! Sorry for the vent-I am just irked by it.

We said our goodbyes to them and headed off. We rode POTC, the Jungle Cruise, and Splash Mtn. There was no wait, maybe because the weather was getting colder or maybe because the parade was going to start. The CM said they had been slow all day. No matter, we rode, just DD and I and she was happy. This is her favorite ride in all of Disney. We headed onto the railroad and took a nice leisurely ride around the entire park and then back to Toontown. Here is where I was a bit concerned about DS. On the train, he said he wanted to ride the Goofy Rollercoaster. Now remember, he is afraid of most things, especially rollercoasters so I did not know what he was talking about. I asked him several times if he was sure and he kept saying yes. So we stand on line, me, DD, and DS, all the while asking him if he still wants to ride. Our turn-time to get in the cars. We get the first and second cars!! I let DD take the first car, and DS and I climb into the second. I think that I will forever remember him laughing the entire ride!! He was just giggling away. When we got off, his first words were "let's go again!". Maybe he is growing up. (as I wipe a tear away while saying that )

It is now starting to rain and getting much colder. We decided to leave and head back to the hotel and rest before our dinner PS. The line for the bus back to the BW was so long! We jumped on the Yacht Club bus and walked to the BW. We beat the BW bus back. I layed down on the bed to rest and must have fallen asleep, which is something I never do at WDW but I was tired! When we woke, it was time to get ready for dinner.

We decided to drive over to the Wilderness Lodge for dinner at the Whispering Canyon , instead of using the buses. We got there, and my sister and her family were there and had already checked in. Okay, no problem. They call our names and off we go. We are led to the very back dining room, which we sat in this past summer. I immediately said "no, we would like to be seated in the main didning room as we have 3 kids with us". No problem, it will be just a few minutes more as they were cleaning our new table. My sister and BIL looked a little mad, but I had sat in the back room before and I swore then that I would not sit there again. You just miss too much of the entertainment. A good dinner, as usual. The lobby was decorated just beautifully, and Chip and Dale were there interacting with guests.

We decided to head back to the hotel and rest up for our last day, which would be tomorrow. We had no definite plans, so we decided to just go with it.

thanks so much for your great report and I am now anxious to go again.........thanks again
