:woohoo: We will be taking our grandson :mickeyjum and one of our granddaughters:tink: the first week in December for their birthdays. Both of them are three and soon to be four. Of all of our trips to DL and WDW we have never seen it at Christmas.:santa: We are so excited! Any clues about anything special to do or see? I would like all the ideas you can think of. Thank you all!

Some good Christmas entertainment options include the special holiday fireworks (which are very good), It's a Small World Holiday (Jingle Bells less annoying than the original song ;)), and the Christmas fantasy parade.

Also the castle this year will be all decked out in ice and snow. During the fireworks there are some places on Main Street and back by IASWH I believe where there are "snow machines". Very fun for toddlers.

There is also "Santa's Reindeer Roundup".. You can see reindeer, take a picture with Santa, color pre-printed pages and even decorate gingerbread cookies. :santa:
Have a wonderful time with your grandchildren...

And don't forget Santa's beach party at CA. My girls loved the twist on Santa last year. They were so excited about one of Santa's "helpers" getting such an awesome gig as a beach party at Disney. The other Santa's must have been jealous. Made me smile. I was also reminded by a CM at ressies that they are going all out on decorating the canal boat miniatures this year for Christmas. And GCH has their classic Santa...more St Nick style in my opinion. Very traditional. I think my goal this year is to get as many Santa pics with different themes as we can. I hope they do a pirate Santa on TSI, wouldn't THAT be fun?!

thank you everyone for your great ideas. I am even MORE excited now! I think I have 26 days to go! Yes I am counting! The grandkids don't know yet. We will tell them the Saturday after Thanksgiving with a special scavenger hunt. We have character meals planned and the Disney birthday party with Mr. Pat E Cake hosting scheduled too. At night when they are getting ready for bed we put a little surprise on their pillows. Oh yeah we are having delivered to them each a birthday bucket. Am I out of control? LOL Add all this to the special Christmas stuff it is going to be extra magical!!
