Christmas at Disney

Our schools - NEXT school year - get out on December 16.....how bad will the crowds be then? How good will the discounts be at that time? We always stay at a deluxe - because we are a family of 5 and that is all that can handle us unless we get two rooms.

Anyone know when their Christmas holidays will start? Just doing some prelim planning.

What is the latest they do the MVMCP?

Last year the crowds weren't horrible until the 25th...mind you it was very crowded though..

If you mean decorations and Christmasy stuff right after Thanksgiving...

Last year it was the Friday night before Christmas Dec 19th

It was a great time to go...we had a blast...but decided this to for go the heavy crowds and go the first week of december...

It is magical...

Dec 16th should still be value season and if you make ressies during that time it should hold the price of the room for your entire visit...I got a AP discount last year that was awesome...not sure what the regular discounts were...

I'm a teacher and our break (Lexington, KY) starts the same time. We booked POFQ for Dec. 17-22 and it is value season - I think. I know value season is different for the values and moderates. I have heard the crowds aren't bad until Christmas Eve. I hope you enjoy your trip! I am so excited about the Christmas decorations and activities!

Thanks for starting this topic. I want to fly out on December 17th after school and come back that Tuesday. I would like to stay at the Poly and I think it will be value season. I

I just want to see it with Christmas decorations and I have to be home for Christmas with our children and grandchild.

Right now I am watching flights and that will decided it.
