This is a very special trip for my girls and I because we have talked my mother into going to Disney World with us this Christmas. We are actually having a family reunion at Disney World because of Grandma!
LIST OF CHARACTERS
Me-Mom (military wife)/university student (DM)
Daughter 1-Kate (DD1)
Daughter 2-Anne (DD2)
Grandma- Maria (retired LD teacher) (DGM)
My husband is deployed through the holidays so I thought this would get their minds off of dad not being home for the holidays. Mom is fighting off macular degeneration and wants to cram as many sights and special times with her family into every day as possible. I am a full time university student who graduates in the spring!
Kate is 15 and is a typical teenager, who has an extremely beautiful warm smile that is her saving grace. Anne is a ham with an engaging wit and an no fear attitude, so wonderful for Disney.
This is my girls third trip to Disney World. Their first trip was marred by a death in the family.Their last trip was a bit off color due to some stomach bug....don't ask was not pretty. So we think the third will be the charm for them!
We leave out of Kansas City the 15th of December!
This is of course after we do the wonderful pre-pack saga that everyone does.
Two labs go to vets for boarding. Three cats get watched by the neighbors.
We are blessed to be living in Sarpy county, my daughters teachers when told what we were doing were more than willing to work with me, so my daughters would not be behind school hours! But of course I just want to note that my daughters are extremely good students and the teachers were given plenty of notice ahead of time.

Less than 3 weeks to go! It must be very difficult for you and the children to be apart from your DH for the holidays - I think it's such a great idea to spend that time in Disney World! Can't wait to hear more.
