For those of you who have stayed at these resorts of have seen then during the holidays, which one of the two does a better job? I am torn between the two of them. The one with the better Christmas theming will win!

Thank you!:santa::santa::santa:

I can't speak for POR because we have never been there. However we have spent the last two Christmas at CSR and absolutely loved it. They have a huge tree in the lobby and the main building is very nicely decorated. Keep in mind for the most part only the main buildings are decorated at the Mod resorts. The other nice thing about Christams at CSR is there are no conventions at that time. We also spent a Christmas at CBR and CSR was definately more done up for Christmas.

We stayed at CSR last Christmas and loved it. When we walked in the lobby for check in, there were Christmas decorations everywhere. It was beautiful.:thumbsup2 Like the last post says the decorations are mainly in the lobby.

POR is also very nice - with a big tree in the lobby - before the check in area.

the check in area is also decorated and I think the pool area was too.

We've also stayed at CSR during Christmas and the decorations are beautiful.

Overall I prefer POR, it's my favorite moderate. Both resorts have lovely "common areas" and decorate nicely for the holidays.

I can't speak to the decor, but another thing you may want to consider is when you're traveling. If it coincides with Pop Warner, there's a chance they could be at CSR next year. This year they are at CSR and CBR, and in the past they were at POR but it seems like they left POR since the refurbishment. So, it's hard to pinpoint where they will staying now since they used to be consistent. It's also hard to pinpoint which week they will be there next year. They usually are there the first week of December but with Thanksgiving falling late next year, they may be there the second week of December which has happened before. These factors have been driving my decisions for my resort choice/time choice next year!
