Christmas at 11 months...day by day?

I could swear that this has been covered but I can't find anything relating to it in a search so forgive me for bringing it up yet again.

If we intend to book our home resort for next Christmas (Dec. 22 - 26 BCV in a 1 br. and then Dec. 26 - Jan 1 in a studio), is it necessary to do the day by day booking? It's our first foray into booking at Christmas so I want to do it right.

Not only day by day but absolutely as soon as MS opens. You are booking 10 of the highest demand nights of the year at one of the smallest DVC resorts. Good luck!
