The Merry After Hours events are supposed to go on sale this month but Disney has not even released the dates! Anyone hear anything on when that will happen?

They are now.

Ooops. Link didn't work

But they are out there - 24 dates between Nov 8 and Dec 21.
General ticket $169 to $249 depending on date, Discounted price $159 to $249.

If people will pay, they will keep raising the prices. I personally think it is obscene and will not be going.

Those are pretty steep prices. I won't be there this year during the timeframe, but depending on who I am going with when these types of parties happen, I can see doing it. If it became something we wanted to do regularly, we would have to budget for it and change up a few things...less TS restaurants or something.

Unfortunately we will be there in early November and we will be going to it. I don’t have a say in it. How’s the saying go. Happy wife, happy life. We will taking our DD and DGD. My DW and I did an after hours back in Dec of 19 and it was great. Hoping this is pretty similar.

It’s not cheap for sure but it’s also more inline with prior more expensive after hours events, shouldn’t be as packed as prior Christmas parties if the boo bash crowd level is an indicator

I’ve done the Christmas party, but never an after hours party.

This is the only thing my mom (grandma) wants to do so we are going. For her a full day in the park is too much so the shorter hours is appealing to her- and the cooler temps in the evening

Does anyone know if children under 3 require a ticket to this?

thanks in advance

Anyone had any luck buying tickets? Doesn't seem to be an option for me on the website, worried that DVC stays don't count when it comes to early access to purchase etc.

Yes. I purchased this morning. I had to log out and log back in to the WDW site for them to recognize my stay. I am staying at RIV on DVC points.

I called and was on hold for maybe 20 minutes. Pretty smooth transaction. I still can't believe I blew just under $1000 for four hours of MK! :)

Been a few years since I have been back to Disney World but going back this year. Will be skipping this at this price. That is out of control.

Has anyone tried purchasing an adult ticket for Nov. 11 ? Although I selected 1 adult 0 kids before adding to the cart, once I got to the cart screen it showed 1 child ticket (age 3-9). The price was the same, but I didn't complete the order because I don't want to run the risk of the ticket not being honored.

I cleared cookies, logged back in and tried again - same result.

When I used online chat from the cart page they said I should call DVC member services. Not really in the mood for a long wait in order to purchase by phone.

If I select a different date (e.g., Nov. 16), the cart shows an adult ticket, as it should. My suspicions are that Disney's IT has screwed up yet again.

If anyone can check for me I'd appreciate it.

You don't have to complete the order, just try to add 1 adult DVC ticket for Nov. 11 to your cart and let me know if it shows up as adult or child when viewing the cart.

I tried, but I don't have a reservation for 11/11, so of course, it wouldn't show that date as available for me. Hope someone who does have a resort reservation for that nght sees this and can give it a try.

I'd also try a different browser if you can. Sometimes, that works. good luck!

We have never been to WDW when a Christmas Party has been going on and don’t anticipate being there in the future as we typically are only able to visit the week between Christmas and New Years.

This year due to our school break schedules (my wife and I work for different school systems) we will be there and even with the extremely steep prices decided to go on both Dec 19 and 21. Do I think the price is obscene? Yes. Do I think I will get what I consider to be my money’s worth out of it. Yes.

Thanks. I decided to be brave and see what happened when I clicked Check Out. Son of a gun, that child ticket from my cart turned back into an adult ticket on the actual check out page. Purchase made, confirmed correct ticket by email. If I wasn't paying such close attention to the cart page, I never would have even noticed there was a potential problem (which turned out not to be a problem).

Not needed. On the page where you select your party (# adults age 10+, # children age 3-9) it says "Please note that children younger than age 3 don't need a ticket."

I had the same issue come up when I ordered for 11/11 as well. I ended up backing out and did not select the DVC option (lowly white card holder). It worked just fine as a resort guest.
