I'm really happy. I woke up at 6am and everything went really well - we were able to get every restaurant we wanted WHEN we wanted it. After making multiple spreadsheets and going through "what if" scenarios, everything went as well as it could have. Below is our plan - what do you think??

I started by booking Narcoossee's dinner on 12/25, then Crystal Palace breakfast on 12/25. I knew these restaurants would be hard to get, especially on Christmas. Honestly, I debated whether to reserve CP first, or go for Narcoossee's. I did Narcoossee's and was surprised to find ADRs for CP available. I guess everyone went for PPO first (we did later in the morning.)

Next I jumped to 12/31. I know not as many people would be booking for 12/31 (I have a theory that most people either go for Xmas or NYE, not both.) But I wanted to get it squared away. After NYE I jumped to Ohana on 12/28, then Yak & Yeti on 12/27.. followed by Beaches and Cream on 12/30, Via Napoli on 12/29 and Kona breakfast on 12/27.

I did have a mini panic attack. I realized while booking Yak & Yeti that I had Ohana on the 27th. I prayed that I could still get it on 12/28 and did!

Here's how it coincides with our plans:

12/24: 6:30pm Dinner at Il Mulino (Haven't made this yet, as their ressie window hasn't opened)
This is our first night. We're staying at BC, so hopefully we get good weather and take a nice walk over to the Swan for dinner. We'll skip dessert and end the night at Ample Hills.

12/25:
Assuming MK has morning EMH, we'll arrive by 7am and jump on Space Mountain (20 min wait) followed by Buzz Lightyear. By the time we finish, the park will be open to the public. We'll try and work in Pirates or one of the popular rides before the wait time jumps up before heading to...
9:20am Breakfast at Crystal Palace
After Breakfast we'll have a FP+ for 7DMT, Thunder Mountain and Jingle Cruise.
We'll leave the park around 2pm. After relaxing at the resort, we'll head back to MK and hop on the monorail to the Grand Floridian. We'll get there around 7pm and take photos in the lobby. We'll head to Narcoossee's around 7:50pm and check in - then head outside and watch Wishes until out table is ready.

8:30pm Dinner at Narcoossee's

12/26: 7:30pm Dinner at Rose & Crown

After traveling on 12/24 and waking up early on Christmas, we'll sleep in. We'll probably do breakfast at Boardwalk Bakery. At night, we'll head to EPCOT and do Rose & Crown for dinner, followed by Illuminations.

12/27:
9:35am Breakfast at Kona

After Kona we'll probably head back to the resort and relax before heading to Animal Kingdom for the evening.
4:45pm Dinner at Yak & Yeti
Followed by Safari FP+, Expedition Everest FP+ and DINOSAUR FP+ - then we'll enjoy the show(s).

12/28: 4:25pm Dinner at 'Ohana
We'll get our fill at Ohana, then head to Trader Sam's for after-dinner drinks. Then it's off to Magic Kingdom for the nighttime festivities: Wishes, the Electrical Parade, etc.

12/29: 4:00pm "Lunch" at Via Napoli
We'll probably spend the day touring the World Showcase—snacking in a few different countries. We'll end it by splitting a big pizza at Via Napoli. Then we'll head to DHS for the evening to do FP+ and Fantasmic.

12/30: 4:00pm "Lunch" at Beaches and Cream
We'll have an early dinner at Beaches and Cream before heading to Magic Kingdom for then night. It's one of our favorite nights of the year, as they do the NYE show!

12/31: 8:25pm Dinner at Yachtsman
Our final meal (TS, at least) We'll dine at Yachtsman then head over and catch the fireworks at EPCOT.

Good luck getting back into MK if you leave on Christmas Day. It hits capacity around 10am, and folks get turned away all day long after that.

We rarely head back after leaving at 1 or 2pm.

Surprisingly we've never had a problem entering the parks. We stay on-site and in the 6 years we've been going, have never been turned away due to phased closures (on Xmas Day or NYE). We're willing to take our chances. We've been there so many times that if we get turned away, we're perfectly content going elsewhere, grabbing drinks or just hanging at the hotel. We're staying BC for the first time. We splurged for Lagoon view, so hopefully that means sitting on our balcony!

Your schedule looks great!
We arrive December 26 and our ADR opening is on Wednesday. We are a family of 4 and my kids are 18 and 22 so we are not looking at any
character meals. We do, however, want Yachtsman. I am thinking Yachtsman for NYE or another restaurant in Epcot but a little later.
Do the restaurants take ressies for dinner at 9:30 pm - 10 pm? Also, did you happen to see if the Illuminations Dessert Party was open? Thinking I may do this too.

Thanks and I hope I am as successful as you!

I just looked - Yachtsman has a 9:25pm.

There were "no times available" for Illuminations Dessert Party. I'm not sure if this is due to it being sold out already or it not being released.

Have you thought about trying to do the Candlelight Processional? I would highly recommend it if you can and enjoy the holidays around the world before new years.

THANKS SO MUCH!
Now I have to hope it's still there by Wednesday LOL
Thank you for checking though, I do appreciate it!

I wonder how we will know if the Illuminations Dessert Party is sold out or not open and how do we know if/when it opens?

Do they do this on NYE? If so, what are the times? Can this bring me to midnight with a special viewing area?

The Holidays Around the World stops before New Year's Eve. My apologies for the confusion. It usually goes from Black Friday to December 30th.
